"Why did you say that Ry?" Jae questions her friend as the two of them sit in a coffee shop, waiting for Jude to get there.
"Say what?" Ryan asks as she writes down song lyrics.
"You told Dylan to warm me up." Jae says with smoke practically coming out of her ears.
"Jae, you can't deny, you still love him. You guys have been through think and thin together!" Ryan says and Jae shakes her head.
"We were just friends, nothing less, nothing more. Why are you acting like we've dated before?" Jae says shaking her head.
Just then, Jude walks into the coffee shop with a familiar face walking beside her.
"Colin?" Jae says out as she turns around to Dylan's brother, and gives him a tight hug.
"Hey Jae."Colin says as he hugs her friend.
"Why are you here?" Jae starts.
"Is he here, because I swear if he is i-"
"No, Dylan's not here." Colin says cutting Jae off.
"We ran into each other on the way here, I though I'd bring him along." Jude says as she takes a seat beside Ryan.
"The gang is almost back together again." Ryan says smiling.
"Except we are missing he who shall not be named." Jude says making Colin chuckle and Jae roll her eyes.
The old gang was Dylan, Jae, Colin, Ryan, and Jude. They were all friends throughout high school and University. Jude, Colin and Ryan are a few years older than Jae and Dylan, so it was usually Jae and Dylan hanging out. That was, until Dylan went pro, leaving Jae behind.
This sudden change caused Jae to become even closer to Jude and Ryan. Each one of them had a passion for singing, so they all decided to create a youtube channel to post their covers of songs. This built them a pretty big fan base, and soon enough they were signed by a record label. Now they're back home after their amazing world tour.
"You here for the summer?" Ryan asks Colin.
Ryan and Colin used to date back in High School. Everyone is still expecting them to get together again, but they never do.
"Uh, yeah I am, so is Dylan." Colin says as they two stare at each other.
"Well, Jude and I actually need to get going, and um, yeah. But you two can catch up." Jae says standing from the table.
"Yeah, we gotta go like right now, see you guys later!" Jude says as she drags Jae out of the coffee shop.
"Do you think they'll get back together?" Jae asks Jude.
"I think whatever they do, you'll do also." Jude says.
"What does that mean?" Jae questions as they make their way to her car.
"That means, you date Dylan and Ryan dates Colin, simple." Jude says making Jae roll her eyes.
