"Thank you Michigan! Tonight was amazing!" Jude yells to the crowd as music plays in the background.
"We love you all, Michigan will always be home to us!" Ryan says right after.
"With that being said, we're Take 3 and this is it for our show! Love you all and get home safe, see you guys soon!" Jae says as the confetti begins to rain from the sky and the music continues to play.
The girls then dance their way off stage with smiles on their faces.
"Great performance girls!" Mrs.C, the girl's manager, says as they walk towards her.
"Sucks that this is the last one." Jae replies and the girls nod agreeing.
"But I'm ready to get home in a proper bed." Jude says causing the girls to laugh.
"But first, I got a date. I'll see you girls later." Ryan says as she walks towards Zach.
Zach is holding a large bouquet of roses just for Ryan.
"Must be nice." Jude says smiling at the soon to be couple.
"Yeah, must be." Jae says with a smile.
"Hey, is that Dylan?" Jude asks Jae, pointing to behind her.
Jae then rolls her eyes and shakes her head.
"If it is, I'm not looking." Jae replies crossing her arms over her chest.
"So damn hard headed." Jude says as she forcefully turns Jae around to face Dylan.
Jude then gives Jae a small shove, causing Jae to make her way to Dylan.
"Hey." Dylan breaths out, tightening his grip on his roses.
"Where's Lara?" Jae replies, getting straight to the point.
"We broke up." Dylan replies, and Jae's face quickly softens from it's stoney expression.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Jae replies.
"Nah, look I'm sorry Jae. I've hurt you a lot, and I hate myself for it." Dylan says and Jae just laughs.
"Dylan I'm fine, it's alright. I just needed a break." Jae says scratching the back of her neck.
"Here, these are for you. You did great tonight." Dylan says handing off the roses to Jae, and she happily takes them.
"Thanks Dyl."
"Jae, I've miss you so much." Dylan tells her, making her smile.
"Give me a hug you asshole."
Jae is quick to wrap her arms around Dylan's neck and Dylan wraps his arms around her waist.
Once the two pull away, it's almost as if five months never passed. It's like they're back in High School and their long breaks never happened.
"So, uh we're good now?" Dylan asks Jae with a smile.
"Of course we are. We've been friends for years, I could never stay mad at you." Jae says.
"Are you sure we're friends?" Dylan asks, and Jae gets a bit confused.
"I mean, yeah?"
"How about I change that, let's grab some dinner, on me." Dylan says and Jae's face shows all her excitement.
"Like a date?"
"Exactly, I'm not leaving you behind this time. I promise." Dylan says flashing Jae a bright smile.
"Sure, but just remember, I'll still be the girl you left behind. You need to make it up to me." Jae says.
"And I'll start with this dinner, come on." Dylan says grabbing Jae's hand and leading her away.
And just like that, the girl he left behind was now the girl he loves the most.
