JOY'S POV

as we were carrying My baby brother, Ben. I was looking at him
he looked so beat up, My teeth clenched as I hold my brother tighther
Whoever did this will never be forgiven! No one messes with my family.
We lay ben down and he groaned in pain

"You guys wait here"
Bill said, I nodded. Bill, eddie and stanley disappear around the block.
they were going to the pharmacy, I was looking at ben 

"Well, glad to have met you before you died"
Richie said jokingly, me and ben look at him

"Alright, Aright, you win sorry jeez"
Richie said, hands up in defeat, I look at ben
And smile, he smiled back

"Glad to see my sister healthy and happy as ever"
Ben said, I sheepishly smiled, and laughed

"Glad to see, you're still smiling and alive, Now
All. I need is some medicine and wipes to stop the bleeding"
Right on cue, richie touched her shoulder

"Don't worry, you go with them, I'll keep watch."
Richie said, I smiled and nodded

"Thank you richie"
I said, running to the boys

"Dad, I'm gonna take off already..."
Now I remember her name, it's gretta! 
we enter the pharmacy

"Watch it losers!"
gretta said annoyed, Oh B**ch I'm more pissed
Than you being annoyed to see us, I gave her an evil glare, she flinched
But walked away, while me smiling in victory.
We race down one of the aisles.Eddie snatches cotton balls and antiseptic and bandages offthe shelf like an expert. Bill checks prices. I look at the medecine's

"whoa that's a lot of dough"
Bill said surprise, I'm the one surprised that he hasn't stuttered
Eddie pulls out a crumpled one dollar, I pull out five dollars. Damn it.

"All I got"
Eddie said looking down, I touch his shoulder

"You have an account here don't you?"
Bill asked and we looked at him

"You crazy? My mom finds out Ibought this stuff for myself I'llspend the whole weekend in theemergency room getting x-rayed."
Eddie said panicked, we all slowly glance at the mirror where Mr.keene (50s) the grumpy,eagle-eyed pharmacist watches them like a hawk as he fillsprescriptions. Beverly comes up behind 
us. I smile at her

"Where's the fire?"
She asked us

"None of your buisness"
Stan said, I hit his shoulder

"There's a kid outside, looks likesomeone killed him. Oh and he's the brother of Joy"
Eddie said, bev looked at me shocked

"Shit. Can I help?"
Bev offered, hugging, since we're friends 
Stan was about to protest, until bill and I agreed.
later we came up with a plan. Bev smiled and grabbed some Tampons
Smiling at Mr.Keene, he's really creepy in my opinion

"I like your glasses, Mr. Keene. Youlook like Clark Kent."
Bev said smiling at him, he looked flattered

"Oh, I don't know about that."
He laughed jokingly

"Can I try them?"
She asked, he looked Surprised by the request, he tentatively takes them off andhands them to Beverly. She puts them on and smiles back.
She looks so cute!

"what do you think?"
She asked

"did lois lane wear glasses?"
he asked, Okay I think she did one time
I don't remember, She takes them off and hands them back, knocking over adisplay of Cigarettes. They clatter to the floor.
