Chapter Seven

Rocks were flying all over the place, and Joy successfully hit Victor in the stomach with one. She laughed still groaning in pain, leaning down to pick more rocks off the ground and throwing them at the three bullies. Mike watched in awe, so did richie.
They winced as a Belch threw a rock directly at joy, hitting her in the forehead, and she yelled,

"Ah, Damn it!"

Joy stumbled slightly, a hand pressed against her now bleeding head. Mike scowled, and quickly stood up with a rock in hand, and he threw it; hitting Patrick. She threw another one, and soon enough Henry's goons had ran off, leaving Henry alone on the the ground. Rocks were no longer being thrown, and joy was helping Mike up the hill, as his foot was hurt. But so was he helping her and comforting her

"Go blow your Dad, You killer wearing asshole!"
Richie said flicking him off
Leaving him, Joy laughed at that comment overheard but then hissed

"You okay Joy?"
Richie asked worried, Joy showed pain but nodded smiling

"I'll be fine, just a scratch...
Been through worse"
Joy mumbled the last part
But Mike heard her

CANAL STREET

Mike turns to the group.
While they walk

"Thanks but you shouldn't have done
that. He'll be after you now too."
Mike says

"Henry? He's always after us."
Eddie said, joy nodding

"I-I guess that's one thing we all
have in common..."
Bill said smiling looking at his friends

"Yeah, Homeschool. Welcome to the
Losers Club..."
Richie said sighing, Ben looks at joy
Worried

"That looks like it hurts..."
Ben commented, joy smiled sheepishly

"Jeez go figure...besides it'll heal"
Joy said touching her bleeding forehead and she winced

"Let me see"
Mike said walking up to her, even though his leg hurts
He got a cloth and put it in joy's forehead, making her
Flinch

"Sorry....Should have warned you"
He said feeling sorry and scared that he hurted her bad
She smiled

"It's alright....thank you anyway"
Mike's heart raced while looking into her eyes
In his mind, he thought they were beautiful
Someone from the group coughed

"We're still here you know!"
Ben said, the 'couple' looked at each other, then looked away
Embarrassed

"Yeah...uh....you're welcome joy"
Mike said, joy nodded and She noticed bev giving
Her....the look...

"Wait joy how are you feeling?"
Richie said looking at her
She looked confused

"Aren't you traumatized?......Henry was basically....on top of you"
Stan said worriedly, joy just looks at them
Then at Ben, who has a worried expression

"Just a little...but hey I'm fine, we're all fine and that matters besides
We should get going" Joy said smiling at the group

"But joy-"
Bev got cut off, by joy walking

"Onward!!!!"
She cheered happily running, the others catching up
