The Nightmare

Hanji awoke a few hours later. He felt a wetness on his back. He looked over and saw the small male attached to him. He noticed his face was still red and he went cold knowing what Levi had saw. He slowly detached from him and sat up before cradling the sleeping captain. Hanji rocks him slight ad he watches him sleep. Tears threaten at his eyes. He very quietly whispers "I'm sorry you had to see that... That was before we met..."

Levi was sleeping he was so cold and sad. suddenly he felt so warm and felt like he was in his mother's arm again as she rocked him whispering a song in his little ears. Levi's body shook at the memory and cried out for his mother as he slept clenching onto hanjis arms.

Hanji jumps when Levi starts yelling out. Hanji starts gently shaking him trying to wake him "hey, HEY. Levi! You're ok! You're dreaming!" Hanji gives him a worried look.

Levi wasn't responding at all he just cried mumbling something to his dying mother the only words that were clear were "and I miss you already." Levis small hands gripped hanji until his knuckles were white.

Hanji kept him close and kept trying to wake him up. He kisses and rests his forehead on Levi's. "Please... Just wake up..." He starts crying himself since he was just horrified with what was going on

poor little Levi whimpered and pushing as hanjis body as if he was trying to get away. "N-no! Don't take me away from mama!" Levi yells loudly jumping.

Hanji holds on tighter trying to get him to calm down. He carried him into his lab and reaches for some potions. "Ugh if this continues I'll have to force him awake." He watches the man in his arms, so confused with what to do.

"Let me go!" Levi slammed his fits into hanji crying like a child would over candy. Levi was trapped in this nightmare watching him being carried away from his dead mother as his uncle shut the door to never see her again. Levi lets out mumbled scream then a sad noise.

Hanji grunts as he gets punched. "Ah fuck! That's it!" He breaks a tablet under Levi's nose. He sighs and lays him on the tabel. He grabs a rag as his nose starts bleeding. He sits tending to it as he waits. "That tablet will force him awake... Fuck he's that got a punch for being asleep."

Levi lays there on the table ans he starts to smell something that only stung his nose. he started to feel dizzy and a warm wetness on his lip. Then it suddenly felt like something took it away. Then he felt like he couldn't breathe properly then he jolts up in the table choking and spiting blood. "WH—*wheezes* FUH—*coughs*"

Hanji sighs still trying to stop his bleeding. He stands on the other side of the room. Still unsure of what would happen

Levi looks at hanji fear written on his face He could talk he just felt drowned. He took hanjis hand tugging on it and rubbing his thump in a circle. He spit out some more blood from his mouth, not really sure where the blood came from.

Hanji picks him up and gives him a vial. "You punched yourself... Drink this it'll stop the bleeding."

Levi looked at him and shrugged taking the vial drinking it. It actually sizzled and crackled in his mouth and throat. He swallowed it choking a little as it burnt him.

He rubs his back. "Sorry i know it doesn't feel good. Side effects. You ok now?" Hanji squats down and cups his face.

The raven nodded As his grey eyes looked up at hanji then leaning into his palm tilting his head just enough to kiss inside his hand.

He smiles softly before bringing him in for a kiss. He makes it deep and full of emotion for Levi.

Levi melts into hanjis kiss feeling so much love. He touched hanjis back and then cringed pulling away.

Hanji sighs and stands. "You can touch it... It doesn't hurt Levi..." He puts Levi's hand on the scar.

Levi flinched looking away as his eyebrows frowns. "W...what happened?"

"have you ever wondered why my squad flips out more than usual when I touch Titans? 2 years before Erwin recruited you a Titan had gotten ahold of me and crushed my ribs and spine. If it hadn't been for Moblit. I'd be dead.  Plus he helped me walk again..."

Levi blinked looking at hanji speechlessness and he rubbed the scare on hanjis back imagining him not surviving. His eyes flicks away from hanji once again he didn't like this subject at all.
