Chapter 1

(A/N ok guys this is my first fanfic so dont send me hate...and this is also a different version of HarrysPussy's When 2 Worlds Collide...Dont say I stole the ideas from her cause i helped her with hers and she knows about it so dont say i copied her... love you)

Lani's P.O.V

Today was a big day for me. It was the day I move to Melbourne, Australia. Your probably wondering why I am excited for this. Well, I get to have a new start. I get to move away from all the drama and just push the past behind me. I have had a really bad expirence in Boston and I just just want to have a fresh start. I wanted to move to a place where no one knew me, and thats exactly what I did. So let me tell you about meyself. My name is Leighlani "Lani" Stevens, and I am 17 years old. I have long and curly hair that is a dark copper color. I love playing sports and to party. For people who know me I am loud and and active all the time. I have big brown eyes with naturally long eyelashes and have a golden tan. I would say, Im...unique, in a way. But that doesnt matter.

I finish packing the last of my hats in my bag, and headed downstairs. My family were already in the cab and were waiting for me to come outside so we could get to the airport. The ride to the airport wasnt that amuzing, given the fact that my two brothers were screaming the whole time. "GIVE ME BACK MY PSP!" Michael yelled at Vinny even though he was right next to him. "ITS MY TURN TO USE IT, YOU USED IT ALL MORNING!" Vinny snapped back. "Oh my god, SHUT UP!" I screamed at both of them causing them to stop. "If you two dont shut up I will take that piece of shit away from you." I contiued, and they just sat queitly until we got to the airport.

We got past security and boarded the plane without any problems. I settled down, put my phone on airplane mode, plugged in my iPod, and fell alseep to 'A Team' by Ed Sheeran. I was awaken by a flight attendent tapping my shoulder telling me that we were about to land. We gathered our things and left the airport. We then drove a rental car home. I was expecting Australia to be boring, but it was actually really nice. We pulled into a average sized house which didn't look that bad. I went inside firest and picked the second biggest room in the house. It took me a few hours to set up my room but i got finished before dinner.

"KIDS DINNER IS READY!" My dad yelled from what sounded like the kitchen. We all ran down the stairs into the dinning room and sat down to eat some pasta. And I have to admit, I was really good. After That I went straight to bed because I was so tired and I didnt want to do anything else. I feel asleep within minutes out laying my head on the pillow, and had a dreamless sleep.

I was rudely awaken by the sound of the 'Adventure Time' theme song coming from my iPad. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING MICHAEL?!?!?!?!" I yelled really loud maeking him jump "I'm watching Adventure Time, on your iPad." He said so softly I could barely hear him. "Ugh, Where is your iPad" I questioned still really tired. "It is in one of my bags....Mum said that I had to wait until my room was set up to use it" He said loking all innocent.  "Fine, whatever. Just please get out of my room so I can change." I sighed. He left my room closing the door behind him with my iPad in his hand. I slowly dragged myself out of bed and into the bathroom and took a quick shower. It seemed like I was in the shower for hours, but it was only 10 minutes. I stepped out, wrapped a towel around myself, and went into my room to get dressed. I put on a pink striped layer shirt, a pair of skinny jeans, a pink beanie, a necklace, and some braclets (http://www.polyvore.com/pink/set?id=53075208). I grabbed my iPhone 4s, put pn my pink TOMS, and walked downstairs. Vinny was sitting on the couch watching cartoons on his iPad.

"Morning, sissy" Vinny greeted me with a warm smile.

"Moning, buddy" I ruffled his hair, making him give me a weird face. He's so adorable.

After I ate breakfast I decieded I was going to go to the park. "Lani, can you take the boys to the park while I finish unpacking and seting up their room." Mom called out from the kitchen. I sighed but agreed to take them since I had nothing to do anyways. "MICHAEL, VINNY, COME ON WE ARE GOING TO THE PARK!" I screamed loud enough to make them go  running out the door shouting their goodbyes.I put my iPod, Beats, my iPad 3, and my wallet inside my Domo bag, said bye to my mom and walked out the door with my penny.

The park was only a five minute walk from my house and my brothers were talking about whatever random subject popped into their young minds. They started playing catch with Vinny's ball, that he must have brought with him and I didn't notice. After a few minutes of watching them I took out my iPad and started to play Temple Run.

I got bored after only 5 finutes so I put away my iPad and went for a ride on my penny while I made sure that my brothers were still close by and in my sight.I kepped riding until I was suddenly tackled by a dog. It made me fly off my penny and fall to the floor in hysterics. A boy who looked around my age ran up to me and the dog. I asumed he was the owner. "LALA! BAD DOG!" He scolded the dog and helped me up. "I'm so, so sorry about that...My name is Jai, Jai Brooks" He smiled at me a stuck out his hand for me to shake it. "It's not a problem. My name is Leighlani, Leighlani Stevens....but you can call me Lani" I shoke his and a looked back at my brothers to make sure they were still there. "I haven't seen you around before and you have a different accent. Are you knew?" Jai questioned me still smiling. "Yeah, I moved here yesterday from Boston" I looked back again to check on my brothers. " Cool. Why do you keep looking back?" He looked confused. "Oh, I'm just checking on my brothers"  I replied looking back again and seeing Vinny crying. "Vinny, Michael, Come here!" I called out. They both walked up to me and and Jai, Vinny still crying and Michael holding the ball. "Buddy, whats wrong...what happened?" I kneeled down so I was about his height. "I-I feel, on my knee, and it really hurts" His voice was really shaky. "Aww, Buddy, do you want to go home" I said to him. "Mhm" He replied and continued crying. "Uhh look, I have to go Jai...It was really nice meeting you" I told Jai as I picked up Vinny. " Ya, it was nice meeting you too. Maybe we can meet up another time?" He said as he wrapped Lala's leash around his hand. "Uh sure...Michael Put my penny in my bag for me so I can carry Vinny" Jai smiled and did it for Michael. "Here, uhh...Lani, can I have your number so I can text you?" He asked looking kind of nervous. "Sure" I replied with a big smile. We swapped number and both walked home. He lived on the other end of our street so he walked with us. Vinny stopped crying and feel asleep in my arms. Michael was happy that Jai let him hold Lala's leash. We got to my house and Michael gave Jai the leash back. We said our goodbyes and walked inside the house.

"Mom were back!" I yelled as I put Vinny down on the couch.

"Alright! Boys come upstairs and help me with your room!" She called down from the top of the stairs and they both went up the stairs. Vinny was limping so my mom had me get him an ice pack.

 I went inside my room, looked the door and took out my laptop. I went on tumblr, rebloged a few things answered a few question and logged off. I went on my twitter and saw that i had over a hundred new followers and my mentions were loaded. While I was scrolling down I noticed Jai had mentioned me in a tweet. How the hell did he find me? As I re-read the tweet I got a text...from Jai.

I read the text and replied after I read it twice...

Hey Jai :) x - Lani

Wanna hang out tomorrow? - Jai

Uhh Sure, If my mom doesnt have anything planned... - Lani

Ok :) We can go to grab some ice cream and go to the skatepark with my brothers - Jai

I put my phone on silent and went downstairs to eat dinner. After dinner i went back to my room, put on my Hello Kitty pajamas and went to bed.
