I've always loved the view of L-Corp. The way the building lights glitter. The sound of cars on the road. I swish around my Cabernet Sauvignon wine and take a skip. Strong, like I like it. My head swims because I drank over half of the glass at once, but it goes away after a minute. I hear a loud, strong knock at the door. Knock..knock..knock... knock knock. Our knock. "Go bug someone else" I say as I sit on my couch. He opens the door, sits down and looks up at me. "Bruce, We need to talk about what happened" I say looking back up at him. "We do. I...have secrets that I don't...that I can't really talk about. I just need you to trust my decisions" Bruce says smiling but upset. Secrets. I hate that cursed word. "I understand, I have secrets too, but it gets annoying after awhile when everyone keeps them from you. Lillian. Lionel, Lex, Clark and now you. So thanks" I say as it's my turn to get up and leave. "Lena I'm sorry" Bruce says as he walks over to me and puts his hand on my shoulder. I jerk my shoulder forward and he whispers something I can't hear. A tear falls down my face as he walks out.
