Harry’s POV
“Hey, Anne. Vas happenin?” I said, grinning at Anne. She giggled.
“Hey Curly. And isn’t that Zayn’s line?” she teased.
“SHHH! Don’t tell him,” I winked at her. She rolled her eyes playfully at me. “Really, what’s up?”
“Not much. Yenno, just chilling with One Direction, the only boy band group who makes songs that I actually jam to all day, every day. No biggie,” she shrugged.
“Yeah, ‘no biggie’,” I chuckled. “So tell me about yourself.”
“Aha, why?”
“Nothing. I just wanna get to know you better.”
“Well,” she shifted in her seat, so she could face me. “I’m Nikki Anne Cadburry, nineteen. I have two sisters, who are fifteen and thirteen. Kara Nicole Cadburry and Kimberly Mae Cadburry. My parents are always at work, so they’re rarely home. I live on my own, in a condominium close to university. Kara and Kim pretty much live with me too, but yeah. I’ve kept my same group of friends since seventh grade. I go to university and college, majoring psychology and English. I wish to be a flight attendant when I grow up, so I could travel the world. However, it’d be heartbreaking to leave my sisters behind, but I’m sure they’ll do just fine. Kimmy would be an accountant or a lawyer, and Kara would probably be a fashion designer, archeologist, mathematician or anything involving smart subjects. And… Yeah. Is that enough for you, Harry?” she laughed. I smiled.
“Well, you’re quite interesting, Anne,” she gave me a small smile. “What about your love life? I mean, I still can’t believe you’re single. You’re beautiful, love,” I saw her cheeks tinted pink. “But I understand if you don’t wanna talk about it though.” A moment of silence fell between us.
“Well… Like any typical relationship stories that never worked out, but I guess my point of view in men changed,” she paused and took a deep breath. "Although, I only experienced the most negative experiences... I mean, I can't say I haven't experience true love before that. It's puppy love though, so I guess it's nothing really,” she finished.
“I’m so sorry to hear about that, Anne…” I didn’t know what to say. It wasn't really detailed, and I still want to find out but I don't want to push it. I sat next to her, putting an arm around her. She gave me a small smile.
“Thanks,”
“You know… Uhm, Anne…” I started. This is it. I’m going to ask her… I’m just not sure how. I think I'll start out slow. I really don't want to because I don't have all the time in the world to be with her, but if it's the only way to get her, then that's what I'll do.
“Yeah, Harry?”
“I… You know I’d never, ever hurt you. I will never, because it would just hurt me too. I love seeing your smile. It makes me smile. I know you might think I’m just like every other guy out there, but I’m not. And let me prove that,” I took a deep breath. “Anne, will you go on a date with me... Let's start out slow, let's go as friends if that's more comfortable. So... Erhm, will you, please?” I studied her expression—shocked.

Harry freaking Styles just asked me out. I didn’t know what to say or think.
