                                                                                Chapter 1

Bella's POV:

"Bell, Em, come on girls, you'll be late for chearleading practice," my mom called.

"Alright, Mom. We're almost ready," I call back. Right now it's 3:08 and we have to get to chearleading practice on 3:15. Its not so far away. About five minutes by car.

"Ugh, I really need to lose at least three pounds," Emma complained.

"Wanna jog to the field?" I offer.

"Won't that take longer?" she asks.

"Do you wanna lose weight or not? Besides, nothing's gonna happen if I'm late. I'm team captain, remember?" I remind her.

"How can I forget?" Emma mumbles but I still hear her. I chose to ignore Emma's rude remark and went downstairs. I hear Emma following me.

         "Driving or jogging?" Mom asks.

         "Jogging."

This is basically a routine for us. We either drive or jog. It's mostly jogging, so we can, a) lose more weight and, b) warm up for practice. To all the people out there who think that all you have to do in cheerleading is show-off your body and flip your hair, I will tell you, that we train just as hard as the boys who play football.

As soon as we reach the field, the rest of the cheerleaders line up and wait for my instructions.

"Alright everybody, last game, we were horrible! Our job is to keep the people entertained and we weren't even close to accomplishing that! Fifty sit-ups! Now!" Still think cheerleading is stupid? After the cheerleaders were done with the fifty sit-ups, I said,

"Fifty more! After that, I want you to give me sixty push-ups!"

Of course, I don't just stand there ordering them around while I eat a donut. I help each and every one of them and I do the work I order them, too. When they were done with that, it was already 3:35. Yep, just twenty minutes. We weren't even half-way done yet. I blow my whistle to get everyone's attention.

"Now we're practicing some flips," I tell them. "And remember, no shrugs."

After practice, Jason, my boyfriend, and star quarterback, picked me up so we could go out to that restrauant we always go to. We weren't in love or anything, we simple liked each other, he was team captain for football and I'm team captain for cheerleading, it was what the school expected. But, they also expected drama from this relationship. Who enjoys a stable relationship? Well, maybe the people in it, but not the audience. They expected the good girl, Sasha, to fall in love with the bad boy, AKA, my boyfriend. They read too much romance novels. A car's honk snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Hey, babe," Jason says, lowering the window.

"Hey, Jace," I say, sliding into the passengers seat.

"So. How was practice?" he asks, not seeming interested at all.

"Normal," I reply with the same tone. He drives us to the restrauant, hops out of his car, and opens my door for me. "Thanks, babe." I give him a quick peck on the lips. We go inside and get into a booth. Jason calls a waitress to come get our order.

"Hello, I will be your waitress today. What would you like to order?"

Jason looked like he was about to order but I cut him off and glared at her, "Oh, it's you again."
