In exactly a week the restaurant is going to be close in order to serve for an engagement party. We weren't really informed whose it's it for because their afraid someone will tell the paparazzi. Still, I know that there is nobody here that is capable of telling other people's business.
"Hey, Alex do you want to go out tonight?" Daniel asked and by doing so bringing me out if my thoughts.

"I really don't know if this will be a good idea" youI stated.

"I know Alex but you can't keep on living in the past. Whoever was the idiot that hurt you was the biggest d*ck on Earth. You deserve better than to stay on the past for so long. Besides am not asking you to go out with me I just want us to treat each other more and if something comes out of it than that's how it is. If it doesn't work out I promise to stay out if your live life but don't close the door to your heart because of an asshole" he exclaim.

"I know he is but, ok pick me up at nine I need to send Cole to bed before going out," I said.

"Ok and how is the little men?"
"He's fine, though he wonders when he is going to see you again"

"Glad to hear that, I would love if you would let me take him out sometime," he ask.

"Yeah he would like that just give me a call and I am pretty sure he is in".

"Oh yeah and before I forget someone came by this morning asking for you, here he left this card and told me to tell you to contact him as soon as you can"
"Ok thanks" I responded while taking the card of his hand.

The name of the person in the card was someone I was expecting never to hear of again...................

The name in the card was my dead grandfathers lawyer and close friend Nicholas Black. As I read the card I keep on thinking why is he looking for me ? How did he find me? Fear was the feeling that struck me the most because

Even though he would never hurt me I was afraid that if it were that easy for him to find me it would also be the same if my suppose 'family' were to someday try to find me.

Still the matter at hand was why was he looking for me. I need to see him after all he was one of the few people in my old life that care about me. I decided to call Sophia. The phone kept ringing and ringing until it send me to the voice mail.

"Hey Soph could you please pick up. Cole from the day care I need to go someplace after work. I'll tell you why after I get home ". With that I ended the message and went back to work.

By the time I got out of work it was 4:30

In the afternoon. I said goodbye to everyone and told Daniel that I will se him later. I drove for about half an hour till I got to Nicholas office. He secretary told me to go strait in and that he was already waiting for me.

"Oh Alexandra you have drown to be a beautiful young lady"

"thank you Nicholas" i responded while blushing.

" oh please just called me Nick like you use to and don't be nervous, you know it was hard for me to find you I have been looking for you for a very long time" he stated.

"After your decorate with Mr. King you vanish from the face of the Earth but, I understand that you wanted solitude and peace after your divorce"

"Thank you for understanding Nick I just needed space however, why have you been looking for me to be honest I never heard about you after my grandfathers death," I said.

"uh so your Grandfather was right," Nick said

"Right about what? " I ask curiously.

"We'll. Every month I went to your parents house to. Give the monthly allowance that you were entitle to by your grandfather" what the f*ck was he talking about.

"Am sorry but I never receive any allowance send by my grandfather"

"we'll that seems to prove to me how you grandfather was right .But, first lets discus the matter at hand" he stated.

"Alexandra you are the sole heir to the Smith furtive and CO." What the hell I can't believe what I just heard.

"By your look on your face I know you are surprise but it is the truth. Your grandfather left a letter for you explaining his reasons here and I'll be outside waiting and please try to understand your grandfather and Ill will be outside if you need me " he stated and with that he gave me the letter and walk out the door.
