" Mommy....Mommyyyyy " , I rolled over to see my handsome curly headed baby looking at me with a mean mug on his face. " what's wrong kartier " " My-My TT won't give me a fruit snack " he fussed stuttering over his words . I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and looked at the time. " 7:14...really son you couldn't let me sleep a little longer " he shook his head , grabbing my hand trying to pull me up " come on mommy papa said you gotta get up anyway " I laid my head back onto my pillow and sighed loudly before pulling the covers off of me and getting up.

I walked into my bathroom thats in my room && began to brush my teeth , when kartier came in grinning . I rinsed my mouth putting my toothbrush back && drying my hands && mouth . " what you grinning for little boy "..." you said you was gonna take me to the park today mommy " I smiled picking him up kissing his cheek and began walking down stairs to the kitchen. " oh yeah I forgot all about that son but Mommy got you okay we gone go ". I sat him on the island and opened up the fridge grabbing a water .

" I smiled thinking of me finally being able to finish school this is my last semester and I'll be graduating with my Bachelors degree , I had to start my classes late though so in order to graduate on time I'll be working all summer. I rolled my eyes turning towards the entryway of the kitchen to see my loud ass bestfriend walking in with a black spaghetti bodysuit , some fashion nova jeans , a chanel purse and some black diamond studded chanel heels. She grabbed kartier's face and started kissing it causing him to make a ugly face... this bitch is so extra I thought to myself.

" Goodmorning Bree " my dad said scooping Karti up and walking towards the den. " Goodmorning mr.johnson " she said ina flirting tone , I rolled my eyes and walked up to my bestfriend hugging her. I sat there scrolling on my phone seeing a flyer on instagram I read the details && smirked to myself " Fine but we going to this event " I said showing her my phone " my babydaddy gone be there " she rolled her eyes " ughh idont know why you think that man is cute..he really not " she said turning her lip up looking at mozzy picture on the flyer. Yes I love me some mozzy so whenever he come to LA I'm all up in there . " bitch you sound stupid that's daddy " she rolled her eyes opening the fridge . I finished my water and jogged upstairs , as I was walking down the hall past sa'nye room I could see her in the room trying on a lil pink velvet dress that stopped right above her knees && had thin straps that crossed in the back . I pushed open her door and walked in laying across her bed " the door is there for a reason " " it wasn't closed all the way so I invited myself in , where you goin ? " she turned around and sighed sitting across from me " I was invited to a party but I know dad isn't gonna let me go " " when is it ? " " tomorrow night " I sat up getting an idea...." how about we make a deal? I pulled up to my school and turned the car off grabbing my purse and getting out . I let kartier out the back and grabbed his hand walking into the office . " Hello welcome to UCLA , what can I do for you today? " " Hi my names Kaylee johnson I was just coming to pick my schedule up " i handed her my ID " okay just give me one second and I'm gonna go print it up for you " I nodded and she handed me my ID back and walked away. I sat down putting Kartier in the chair next to me and pulled my phone out scrolling down facebook . " damn ...you're beautiful " I looked up seeing a handsome white guy he had tattoos all over his hands and neck but he had on a white button up , a tie and some slacks , he even had on some stacey Adams. " thank you " I looked back down at my phone and he chuckled walking behind the counter. " here you go ma'am , welcome to our university I hope you enjoy your time here we're happy to have you " she smiled and I smiled back grabbing the folder she held out . " thank you " she nodded and I walked out holding kartier's hand. " we going to the park now mama? " " yeah after we go pick up your auntie " " yaaay auntie Nye coming too " I nodded and put him in the car and watching him buckle his seatbelt. I got in the car starting it up and pulling off towards the house.

" Sa'nye !" I yelled through the house as I came through the door " go get your snacks kartier " he let go of my hand running off " SA'NY-" " OMG STOP YELLING IM COMING " " who the hell you talking to little girl " she rolled her eyes coming down the last few steps grabbing her jacket off the rack " why you rushing me and you don't even have your kid " " shut yo ass up he getting his snacks .... KARTIER ! " he came around the corner with his paw patrol lunchbox " stop yelling mommy I coming " " You know what .. go get y'all asses in the car before I change my mind " they both ran out to the car and sa'nye put kartier in his seat and got in the front putting her seatbelt on . I got in the car and to the park we went .

" Okaay kartier can you please get down from there before you fall " " wait mommy I got this " I shook my head getting up to go get this kid down before I be in somebody's emergency room. I grabbed him putting him down on the ground and he took off running smacking dead into one of the guys I seen over there playing basketball. I mean come on now it's some fine ass men out here and they sweating ... wooosahh lemme go get my baby . I ran over picking him up. " you okay papa ? " " yeah I good mom " " watch where you going next time please " " I apologize miss I didn't see him " " you good just watch where you going next time if I didn't see that he was running I probably woulda tripped out but you good " I grabbed kartier hand and began walking towards the basketball court where Sa'nye and her fast ass friends were. " come on sa'nye it's getting late we've been up here for hours and I wanna take a nap " " alright " she got up hugging her friends " I'm going home with y'all " sa'nye bestfriend said getting up and pulling her little shorts down , I shook my head because nye's bestfriend is Kash's little sister she's 17 also and if her brother was alive she wouldn't be wearing these little ass shorts. " you staying the night or you going home later " " staying ima help nye babysit Karti " " yeah okay.. ima take you to get some clothes so you can take them damn shorts off " she rolled her eyes making sa'nye laugh.

I sat in the car waiting for Armani to come back out she took kartier to see his nana , I didn't feel like going in there. This is the time of the year she starts drinking heavy and when she gets drunk I don't wanna deal with it she gets to talking shit about all the mistakes kash made and how it led him to where he is now . It makes me sick to my stomach because despite all the bad shit kash did , he took care of his home no matter what when she couldn't pay the rent or bills he got the money to do it and it's always been like that since he was younger his older brothers are somewhere doing them. The car door opened causing me to snap out of my thoughts " why are you crying kaylee " nye asked half way in the car. I wiped my face I didn't even realize I was crying , it's just hard for me I lost the love of my life right before our first and only child was born that shit kills me everyday my son looks just like him , he even acts like him sometimes it's crazy and it hurts to know he never got the chance to meet him . " im good just got lost in my thoughts for a second " she gave me a long hard stare and got in and closed her door , once everybody was in I headed home .
