" Kaylee ... Kaylee ! " I cracked my eyes open and looked up to see my dad standing over me with his hand out holding his phone towards me. " it's cassy " he said before walking out I rubbed my eyes putting the phone to my ear " hello " I cleared my throat " Goodmorning little girl " " goodmorning ma " " why haven't you been answering my calls && why haven't I seen my grandson Kaylee it's been almost a week don't make me act a fool over my grandchild " " ma first of all his birthday is in 48hrs...your gonna see him his party is at your house && second of all come get see him if you miss him that much " " who the hell you talking to like that ?! , You know what don't say shit when I start popping up at ya door " I laughed this lady is really crazy bro " I'll bring your grandson by today ma " " okay good I thought I was finna have to pull up over there " I busted out laughing " goodbye ms.cassy " she hung up before saying bye. I turned over looking for my son but of course he wasn't even in bed , I threw my blankets off of me sitting up. I looked around my room as my head started spinning I shut my eyes rubbing my temples. " here drink this " I looked up grabbing the mug out of my dads hand " thank you daddy " he sat down next to me " no problem babygirl how you feel? " I shrugged " like crap honestly " he chuckled " kartier...and Kash's Birthday is coming up && Iknow What today means to you , I just need to know if you're really okay " I stared down into my cup not really wanting to talk about today . " It still hurts dad " I looked up at my daddy with tears running down my cheeks " I just don't understand why it still hurts today makes 3years he been gone why can't I get over him? " he wiped my tears pulling me into his arms " I don't know babygirl...I don't know ". I really hate how bad kash's death affected my life , I haven't been with nobody else since they took my other half . I'm just not attracted to anyone else " go head and go get yourself cleaned up we're going to breakfast , ima go wake bree up " I nodded and he stood up walking out and closing my door behind him . I walked into my bathroom starting my shower water then walking into my closet to find something to wear . I ended up with a grey polo sweatsuit and my black fenty pumas , I took my clothes off getting in the shower .

I jogged down the stairs as my dad stood at the bottom calling my name . " omg im coming " " you take too damn long to get ready Kaylee it's not even breakfast time anymore " he yelled at me obviously upset , I rolled my eyes picking kartier up kissing him on his cheek . " you look like a cute bum " bree laughed out as she walked out the door " fuck you auhbree " she laughed and got in the back of my dads black escalade truck , I put karti in his seat and climbed in the front connect my phone to the aux . " don't play none of that bullshit rap you be listening to kaylee " " dad you a hater my music slap what is you talking about " " no that shit is trash " I died laughing and decided to just play pandoras oldies station . We pulled up to a dinner called " the waffle " my dad would always bring us here when we were kids . I looked over at him and he looked back at me " really daddy ? " I started getting teary eyed but I had to calm down so I didn't ruin my makeup " I mean we haven't been here since you were pregnant with kartier I figure it would bring back some fun memories " I stared at the building remember the last time I was here .

(Flashback)

It was me , my dad , kash && sa'nye. We pulled up to the waffle , I remember craving their chicken strips all while I was pregnant . " omg hurry up and get me out of this car I'm starving " kash hopped out the front seat and opened my door helping me out . I was currently 7months pregnant and ready to have my son , we walked in being greeted by the hostess . Normally there was a middle aged man there to seat us but today there was a young woman who looked to be about 18 , 19 she was cute nice boobs that she had damn near popping through her shirt a small waist and a average sized booty . You can tell she was extra as hell by the way she smiled when she seen my babydaddy. " hello welcome to the waffle table fooor 3 ? " " 4 actually " I said grabbing sa'nye hand she was standing behind me so the lady couldn't really see her " okay right this way " she grabbed a few menus and guided us to the back . We sat down in the booth that sat right in front of the window " I'll give you guys a few minutes to look over the menu and I'll be back to take your orders but until then would you like anything to drink ? " she eyeballed kash but looked over at me and noticed the look on my face she smiled and looked over at sa'nye " how about we start with you , what would you like to drink ? " " I want a chocolate sundae " she smiled and looked at my dad " she will not be having no sundae just yet you can get her a chocolate milk though and I'll have a cup of coffee " " And I'll have a orange juice and my fiance here would like a coffee also " I looked up at her and smiled the same fake smile she gave me and she wrote down our drinks and walked away. " Kaylee you have to stop doing that someone is gonna spit in our food one day " I looked over at my dad " and thats gone be the day I beat someones ass " " watch your mouth girl you talking to yo daddy " " she has no respect with her spoiled ass " " I do respect you dad it's just a bad habit " I shrugged and looked over the menu .

We sat there eating and laughing at eachother crack jokes " ayee ayee pops you remember when kaylee slipped into the pool " everyone started laughing and I smacked kash's arm " shut up that wasnt funny i had a bruise on my thigh for like 2weeks " he laughed wrapping his arm around me kissing my forehead. "Oop" I jumped grabbing my stomach " whats wrong baby you good " kash asked with a concerned look , he put his hand on my stomach feeling our son kick back to back I swear it felt like he was in there breakdancing " omg I think im too full for this he is tearing my ribs up " I held onto my stomach as I layed my head on kash's shoulder . I took slow breaths in and out  as I waited for him to stop " I can not wait to have this baby " " I cant wait either I finally got my lil nigga " he said kissing me all on my face , I giggled as I watched my dad text angrily on his phone I leaned up " whats wrong daddy why you looking like that " " uhh no reason babygirl just something with work " he finished his text locking his phone and setting It down. " you okay babygirl " yeah I'm good daddy " I picked up my cup taking a sip of my juice " Nye how's school " kash asked her making her look up away from her phone she was obviously trying to hide " sa'nye put that phone away...daddy you too , you guys been on your phones since we got here is that how we doing it now? " she rolled her eyes putting her phone away and my did slid his in his pocket after putting it on vibrate. " thank you..now how is school sa'nye ? " " I mean its okay its school kaylee " she said with a shrug " you still hang with my sister don't you? " she nodded her head looking over towards kash " of course thats my bestfriend " " oh yeah haha I forgot I just haven't seen you at the house ina min " " yeah iknow I've been busy with school stuff as always " she sighed and put emphasis on the " busy with school " part I rolled my eyes " school is important nye thats why I want you to work hard when it comes to it , you gotta be someone important " I stated eating the rest of the food I had on my plate .

We finished our food and sat and talked for a little while longer then we headed out after my dad paid for our meals . " Kaylee ...Kaylee " I looked over at my dad as he waved his hand in front of my face " we can go somewhere else if you want to " " noo..no dad this is fine I think Kartier would like it here " I looked back at my son as he looked around curiously " you ready to eat karti " " Yes mommy I'm hungry hungry " he said rubbing his stomach . We got out the car and I held my son hand as we walked towards the entrance " hello mr. johnson welcome to the waffle " " hello ms.ruby uhh can we get our normal booth by the window "I looked up at my dad and he looked over at me and smiled a little " you sure can follow me and I'll show you to your table " we followed behind ms.ruby and she seated us in the exact same booth we would always sit at , She handed us our menus " can I start you guys off with some drinks or do you need a minute " she looked over at me and cracked a small smile " it's been a while since I've seen you here little lady " iknow " I laughed a little and looked over at karti " last time I was here I was pregnant and ready to pop " " yes you were is this the little one here " she said looking over at karti and smiling giving him a coloring page and crayons " yes thats him " " wooww kaylee he looks just like kash " " he does alot its crazy " " well why don't I start with those drinks " she took our orders and they came out with our food 10mins later we sat eating and talking when I had the urge to go to the restroom " ill be right back I have to use the restroom " I got up walking towards the restrooms with my eyes glued to my phone . As I turned the corner I bumped into someone , idk whats up with people now and days they have no manors . I rolled my eyes looking up at the person I bumped into " well we meet again pretty " he smirked and I couldn't help but admire his features.
