Vixens fill in

Chapter one

Hi i'm Bella and i'm seventeen i am a netball superstar so i've heard.

It all started with a phone call but not just any phone call it was an important phone call i answered it and on the phone was Sharelle McMahon wanting to know if i could fill in for Karyn Bailey. My answer was a "YES" straight away she said that she would email me all the details.

I open my email to find all the details game time 12:20pm game date 7th of July hisense arena i look at the date at the top of my laptop and realize that it's only ten days until game day.i try to imagine me on tv actually playing in hisense arena you hear me yes ME out of everyone it has to be ME.

I rang jemima as soon as i got all the details and printed off 4 free tickets for her and her family. she is so excited she can't wait. I still can't get the thought of me yes me being asked to fill in for the Melbourne Vixens. I mean arn't just incredible.

2 days later .....................

Two days down only eight more day's to go to closer it gets the more excitement shoot's it's way through my body.I still can't believe that i am going to be on TV and playing with famous netballers.

eight days later ..................

Today is the day finally it has come around the corner i have only dreamed that this momment would happen.I jump out of bed put on my vixens netball dress on glide down the stairs and head towards the fridge were my breakfeast awaits me. For breakfeast i am having a small ball of weet-bix and a pink lady apple if i am still hungry.

It is now 11:00am so i am leaving i jump in the car waiting for mum and dad they will probably take a while so i turn up the radio and it so happens to be my favourite song on happy by pharelle williams about 5 minutes later dad and mum finally arrive.

An hour later...........................

We have finally arrived at hisense arena i suddenly get butterflies in my tummy as we arrive in the car park.I head into the arena looking for my team i spot them sitting on the benches talking about strateges for the game i jump onto the bench waiting for them to greet me as soon as i think are they going to greet me they suddenly talk to me and tell me that i will be playing in GS(goal shooter).

I can't believe that i will be playing in GS on TV how astonashing is that.We re called on court together into our postions as i'm walking upto to GK(goal keeper) i notice how much taller she is but i guess i just have to hope that i will ge in front most of the time.
