Sweetie he's here hurry up!" I woke to my mom screaming and realize I'm late. I get up and change to some jeans a t-shirt and a hoodie. I go downstairs and thats when I see him, Austin my bestfriend since 4th grade also my crush since 7th grade. Today we are starting Junior year of highschool and I'm excited.
No to go to school but to be with Austin, and my friends of course."Ready to go" Austin said, I nodded and we left to Bridgeport Highschool the place where nothing happens but people getting pregnant, doing drugs, and getting wasted. Like I said nothing bad happens here, By the way my name Diana.
"Hey shorty I can't give you a ride home today I got family stuff sorry." Austin said I looked at him and smiled "It's OK beside your not supposed to anyway Jackie is supposed to give me a ride. Remember today is soccer tryouts so I have to stay and help the coach and stop calling me shorty Im not that short I'm now below your chin." He laughed so hard tears came down his eyes.
"What's so funny?"
" I can never stop calling you shorty even if you're taller than me which is never gonna happen"
"But I'm getting taller now people can mistake me for sophmore and not a 8th grader." I say with confidence even though I'm not sure why because I was really small but not anymore. My friends say I'm that girl that all the guys wanna scoop up and hold like a baby and I just laugh.
I did have a boyfriend though and they were right he did wanna scoop me up like a littel baby. People are still suprise to see me in the soccer team but im the fastest there so no way I'm leaving. "Shit!" Austin caught me by suprise "what's wrong?" He looked at me with a pouting look and I know that look he want something.
"What do you want?"
"Can I have the answersto the homework?" He gave me a pouting look.
"What! You are suppose to do your homework on your own!"
He gave me a pouting look with puppy dog eyes. God he's cute. "Fiiiiine" he smirked and winked at me. "Thanks Shorty"
