A long time ago in a galaxy far far away...
STAR WARS: Return of the Sith
It is a time of turmoil in the galaxy...
The former Jedi Master, Count Dooku, has led a revolt against the Republic, forming a Separatist Alliance...
This has led to several skirmishes throughout the galaxy...
Desperate to keep the Republic intact, the Senate has called upon the already thinly spread Jedi Order for assistance...
After receiving a mysterious distress call from a Separatist senator, the Jedi Order has dispatched Jedi Master Sh'Kira Li, and her Padawan, Logan Price, to deal with the developing situation...
Meanwhile, the Order continues to watch closely, keeping an eye out for their true enemy's return...
We had been traveling on this ship for a while now.
We left Coruscant a few hours ago...
My master, Sh'Kira Li, has been meditating in her room the whole time.
I would've much rather her be here on the bridge since I'm nervous as hell...
She told me "not to worry", that it's not the "Jedi way" to worry.
But nevertheless, I'm still worried; worried about this whole situation.
Ever since Dooku left the order, everyone has been on edge.
The worst part is; no one's heard anything from him in months.
And, ever since the incident with Darth Maul, the council has been keeping a closer eye on everyone.
I think they're watching for the Sith; waiting for them to make another move.
We were all shocked when we learned from Obi-Wan Kenobi that Qui-Gon Jinn had been killed.
It was the first time a Jedi had been killed in years.
It had been so long, that some people actually thought Jedi were invincible.
But anyway, enough monologue from me, let's talk about more current events.
A couple days ago, we received a distress call from; get this, a Separatist senator.
Apparently, she said that Count Dooku was connected to the Sith, and she wanted nothing to do with it.
So now, herself, and the rest of her family, want to defect.
Now, this could've been handled by other forces, sure. I mean, I've seen members of the Senate make deals with bounty hunters before.
But, since the word "Sith" was used; they contacted the Jedi council...
And the council sent me and my master.
They could've sent a much more experienced pair of Jedi, like Obi-Wan and Anakin.
Hell, they could've sent Luminara and Barris!
Ugh...
I sighed and leaned back in my chair and watched as the blue, portal-like appearance of hyperspace surrounded the ship.
