Momo's POV
After the firework show ended we didn't move. We stayed in each other's arms and enjoyed the company. Then after a bit we walked back, holding hands.
Seeing him this happy makes me feel so full of joy.
He is my prince and I'm his princess.
We stopped by a flower shop. He chuckled to himself...
"Why are you laughing?"
" oh just because it reminds me of when we first met." He replied
"Ah that's right." I said with a slight blush
"I'm so glad we met Momo."
"Me too Shouto."
Just after I said that he got turned to face me, held my hands tightly, and began to speak.
"Momo, will you go out with me?" He asked
I was so shocked
He was so cute! I don't know how I'm supposed to respond..
"...of course I will! This makes me so happy. Thank you."
His eyes lit up, and with a slight blush he kissed me deeply. This was why I am alive, to be with him.
I was never going to be alone again, thank you.
Todoroki's POV
She actually said yes!
For the first time in a while I felt happy, warm and alive. I had to come up with a perfect date, she deserves the best. We kept walking home side by side, as I was planing out the date in my mind. I felt a jerk at my hand, then the next thing I knew we were running. I don't know why or to where but it didn't matter as long as I had her. I felt like a little kid running with the wind blowing through my hair and a smile plastered on my face while looking at her lead the way. We ran all the way until we found what looked like a beach. Sand and a vast body of water laying in front of our eyes.
"How did you know about this place?" I asked her
"I overheard someone talking about it when we were out for lunch. It's amazing, I'm glad we found it."
The sparkling sky was reflected on the water and in her eyes. The warm air and crisp air. This reminds me of a movie or a book. Like a fairy tale. So picturesque. I took my shoes off and put my feet in the sand. She soon did the same. We walked along the shore and I picked up shells and began collecting some, hoping to make some jewelry for Momo.
I glanced over toward the water, it looked so inviting. I guess Momo thought the same because she was rolling up her skirt and going deeper in the water. When the water reached her thighs she stopped at called me to come in with her. I was heisting for a bit but then a put my shells down and joined her. As soon as I met her she began splashing me, unrelenting attacks.
"Oh it's on!" I counterattack with a big splash
"Ah! That's so cold!" She said in a happy but annoyed voice.
She tackled me, probably not meaning to fall in but I slipped over and we fell into the water.
I held her tight not wanting her to get hurt.
Her warm body pressed against mine, chest to chest and face to face. We resurfaced the water, now I was sitting down with her leaning up against me. She was laughing so hard, adorable.
"Looks like I win." She said victoriously.
I couldn't help but to kiss her.
Her lips were warm against mine which were cold from the water. She hugged me and kissed me more passionately. Once we broke apart I was a little hot, maybe she was too she looked red. I stood up with her hand in mine and ran toward the darker water. Before I got too far she pulled at me and said,
"We should let our clothes dry, we don't want to get them more wet then they already are." She smiled at me.
She began unbuttoning her shirt, and slipping off her skirt. She did have a point, we would catch a cold if we walked back in soaking clothes. I followed her lead, slowly undressing.
We threw out clothes back on shore. We still had our undergarments on but still this was embarrassing. She looks so beautiful, embarrassed but beautiful. We continued toward the deeper part of the water, swimming and splashing and laughing. The water was up to my chest now, although it was a bit deeper on Momo.
I pulled her toward my chest, and whispered in her ear,
" I'm falling in love with you"
