~Cassie's P.O.V.~
Blood, it was everywhere . I throw the sweater down and run as fast as I can. Sweat drips from my head. All I can do is run, there's no other choice. Alexis' killer ran, and fast. He wore a dark black hoodie, and a ski mask. He had black pajama pants on, with grey sneakers. They'll get my fingerprints on the gun. I picked it up after he shot Alexis. "I'm doomed" I whisper to myself a few times.
I turn my head back towards the alley, looking for the police. I hear noises, and see red and blue lights. Will they come this way? Did I leave footprints? I shake my head and stop for a rest. The sirens wail and doors slam in the background. I hear someone crying, loudly. That must be Alexis' mother and her family. I take a deep breath and climb up a tree and look towards the crime sence.
I had drifted off to sleep, when I woke it was dark. I look towards the sence to see nothing but darkness. The only light I had was the moon glimmering in the night sky. I crawl down from the tree, listening for any noises. An owl hoots in the distance, I walk towards it. I walk slowly, trying not to disturb any animals. The owl's noise led me to a shed. It looks old and ready to fall apart. I shrug my shoulders and walk inside.
Morning comes, light shines through the crakes in the walls. I yawn and get up to leave. I look through the door crakes, watching for the police. Nothing. I open the door and run to the sence. I stare over the chalk drawing of Alexis. My throat tightens up at the form and blood. I take a deep breath and run over to the nearest gas station. I pay fifty cents for a newspaper and read it slowly.
