~Darcy Pavtelic's P.O.V.~
Cassie and Alexis were my friends. What could I do? I gave Alexis the sweater she was shot in. The police had told me it was off of her when they got there. I was confused to learn Cassie's fingerprints were on it. I stay quiet in my bedroom until someone knocks on the door. I hear faint voices filled with sorrow. "Come, come on in," my mother says to the person at the door, "How are you feeling Sara?" Sara, that's Alexis' mother. Must be sad for her and her family. "Fine, just a bit sad. Do you know anything? About the mur-murder?" Sara says with a croak in her voice.
I peak around the door into the livingroom. My mother comes around me with a cold stare towards me. She walks in and sita down on the chair, opposite of Sara. "Want a cookie?" My mother asks politely. Sara takes one with a nod. "I don't mean to bring Darcy into this, but she must be sad or stressed over this." Sara tells my mother. My stomach churns at the sentance. "She's been hiding out in her bedroom, I think it's hard on her. They were all good friends." My mother says.
Sara stands up and looks at her watch. "I think I should go. James has a ball game. I should support him, while I still have him." She says holding her head low. I rush back to my room and listen closely out the door.
A few hours after Sara had left the door rings again. I answer it to see a police man. "Hello, I'm Detective Wadison." The man says. "Co-come in," I say frightened, "What can I help you with?" "Anything you can tell me about Cassie Stelle?" My mind runs through memories of Cassie, Alexis, and I. "She was nice, and had a good heart. She always donated money in tip jars. She lets me borrow things-" I pause for a moment as my mother walks in. "Excuse me" I say and rush into my bedroom to grab Cassie's notebook she lended to me.
