*alarm ringing*

"Really?" my dream is just beginning when that stupid alarm wake me up. My prince charming if you all wanna know will just kiss me in my lips!! Now it wont happen because of this stupid alarm clock. So there, I rub my eyes and fix my bed. It's still 6:30am so I still have a lot of time before I go to school. My first class will be 9:00am and the travel time between my house and school is around 30 minutes. I am currently enrolled in a State University in the Philippines taking up Civil Engineering and now in my 4th yr in the said curricular program. I went to the bathroom to take a shower before I eat my breakfast. We are just living a simple life. My mom is currently cooking some hotdogs and egg and on the table is a newly baked pandesal. "Natalie, maupo kana jan at maluluto na to." ang sabi niya. "Ok po ma." I replied. Before I live the house my mom gave me 150 Pesos, 50 pesos for my lunch and another 50 for my transportation and the remaining 50 is for my snack and other expenses. Usually in a day I can save around 20 pesos and I put it in my piggy bank.

I arrive in my school 8:50am just in time to hang out with my friends. I saw my friends talking along the hallway. There is Aly the tactless and major critic in our squad, Krissi the quirky but very intelligent, and Jak the simple girl with a sweet voice with a simple attitude. Oh I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Natalie a girl that is open-minded, liberated but still a virgin. I'm also single and I maintain a good grades in my subjects. They consider me as one of the clever student in our batch. "Girl! Kumusta vaca mo?!" Krissi ask. "Ito nga nga, anu paba, pa internet internet lang and sometimes nanonood ng movies" my answer. "Ako naman we went to the beach ngayong bakasyon with my family" sabi ni Aly. "Really? Kami din naman" sabi ni Jak.

After mga 5 minutes na chikahan the boys are finally here. To complete my squad, Meet our boy friends- Keith ang lalaking sporty at good looking. Si PJ naman ang sporty na mataba, we have also Carlo the gay na may crush kay Keith pero wala lang to sa guy nung may confession na naganap , si Rey na sporty din pero pandak at si Jason na mahilig sa politics. I rerally don't know why he didn't enter Pol Sci and did take up Civil Engineering. So ayum pumasok na kami na room. As usual I sit along with Jak on my right and Keith on my left. I know that Keith has a crush on Jak and Jak knows it naman but Jak don't mind it because she only consider him as a friend. Keith ask me to help him to get along with Jak para daw maging sila so ako naman todo chika affirming Keith kay Jak. Just a typical year, we are always together until we graduate. Keith and Jak became couples and Carlo find another man of his dream. As for me, I graduated as cum laude. This is all because I'm single. In our squad I am the only one single when we all reach the graduation.

We all passed the board exam together and that's the last time we see each other because we need to find job separately.
