Emilia sighed, and walked forward. She came across another door, just like the previous one. As she approached it, she stretched both arms out in front of her, and opened it.

Relieved to finally be free from The Ruins, the feeling of cool, fresh Snowdin air brushed across Emilia's face. She smiled as she took a deep breath, and absorbed it all in.

Slowly and happily, Emilia walked forwards through Snowdin forest. It wasn't as cold as it looked. Or maybe her jumper was just very warm. Thinking about this, she started to worry about reaching Hotland, but that wouldn't be for a while.

The forest was long, and the trees were tall without a single leaf in sight. Maybe they had all been swept away into The Ruins. The ground was covered in snow; the middle was more like opaque ice, as people had been walking there. Emilia stopped walking, jumped forwards, and turned around to slide across the path. As she landed, she lost her balance, and almost toppled over, but she managed to stay put. After this, she decided to just walk. The first part actually seemed to be longer than she remembered, so she got bored quickly. All she wanted to do at that moment was meet whoever portrayed the skelebros (Sans and Papyrus). Eventually, she decided to attempt to slide on the snow. This turned out to be nowhere near as cold and painful as she'd expected. After all, the only thing protecting her feet was a pair of tights.

Suddenly, she became very excited. She had spotted a very large stick on the ground (obviously too heavy to lift up), and she knew what that meant. She was near the bridge at the end of the path. Beaming, she leapt over it, and slipped on ahead. A few seconds later, she heard a loud crunch. She turned around, and saw that the branch was broken. Emilia smiled more than she ever had before, and continued on while skipping.

As she finally approached the bridge, she came to a halt. She heard footsteps coming from behind her, and she shook a little as she attempted to contain her excitement.

Slowly, someone came up behind her, and said in a voice she knew only too well, "Hey, don't you know how to greet a new pal? Turn around and-" Before he could continue, Emilia spun around and leapt onto him to give him a huge hug, knocking him over. She knew very well who this was.
"Jimmy!" She cried. Tears of happiness formed in her eyes in the presence of her life-long best friend, but she didn't cry.
"Aw man, you got me. Guess this trick won't be getting used any time soon," he replied, lifting his hand, revealing a small whoopie-cushion. Emilia tried not to laugh. Jimmy continued, "Hey, try walking across this bridge. Don't worry, it's completely safe. My sister made the bars too wide to stop anyone."
"Sister..?" Emilia started, confused. Then she realised, "Oh! Tea Party! I'm so stupid."

Jimmy took his best friend by the hand, and led her across the bridge. He said that he could see his sister, so he told Emilia to stand behind a lamp. Unfortunately, as she was not Frisk, the lamp wasn't shaped conveniently, but it'd have to do. She was short enough to duck behind it without being spotted.

Someone emerged from the other end of the forest, but surprisingly, it was not Tea Party. Instead, Briar was the one who portrayed The Great Papyrus. This half made sense, since she'd spent ten years of her life believing that she was Jimmy's older sister, despite that fact that he knew who his real sister was. Emilia thought it was weird that Sans was now the younger brother. And Jimmy too, at that.

"Oh my gosh, brother. You need to stop lazing around! It's been eight days and you still haven't recalibrated your puzzles!" Cried Briar, stamping her foot down on the opaque ice.
Jimmy laughed, "Don't worry, sis. I'm sure you'll be pretty happy soon." He winked.
"And how exactly would you know that?" She asked, one eyebrow raised.
"Because I know everything," Jimmy replied, sounding sarcastic.
"Ugh, Jimmy! Stop pretending! This is serious!" Briar demanded.
"Alright, alright. But you know, I wouldn't say it was that important. We're just making puzzles," Jimmy smiled in Emilia's direction.
"All you do is sit around all day, and do nothing!" Cried Briar.
"Welp, it's not like I'm Frisking my job here. I don't even have one!" Jimmy laughed.
Briar raised one eyebrow and folded her arms, "Uh.. what? I think you mean risking. Also, yes you do. Your sentry station is right there! And you have like.. three other jobs selling hotdogs or something!"
"Alright, alright," Jimmy sighed, still smiling. He winked at Emilia. Briar left.
