Trick my Heart with Someone else like I trick my brain with Caffeine

These eyes of mine,

Are tired most of the time.

Half open and sublime,

Staring at a dimly lit screen.

And I'll trick my head with Caffeine.

Energy drinks and coffee,

Some are rich other's are cheap,

But they are far from sleep.

I'll trick my ears into mimicking your voice,

With music and songs of my choice.

Although, those notes are lovely,

None warm me quite subtly,

Like the orchestral storms that are your words.

I'll trick my mouth into sins,

Bursting with sentences,

All of which are synonyms,

Of "I'm in love with you".

Now's not the time due,

I'll wait, but I'll lose,

Because my heart's overflowing,

And my mind isn't slowing.

I'll trick my heart with someone new,

Though I know they'll never be you.

I'll hug them tight,

And show them the starry night.

But their laugh is only a drop,

In your hurricane.

To keep my calm.

But, how could I have loved,
