I Will Remember You

Chapter 2

A visitor I actually have a visitor!I hope it's someone that knew well me,I don't remember at all so anything will help,but I do have questions,why now?Is it because they know I'm awake?How important to my life were they?Will they help me when I'm discharged?

"Okay,I'll just go get him"She smiled,wait,him?I hope it's the guy from my phone not only is he dreamy but we seemed close so he must know something about me that can help,I hope.

Well all I can do is hope,I woke up after 3 months in a coma to know I was in a life-threatening accident,I can barely walk and this is my only visitor.The only two things I have to help myself remember is the jacket and my phone.Only hope and people from my old life can help me now,mentally that is.

"Cassidy,I was so worried about you I'm sorry I didn't come earlier"He ran over to me and hugged me tightly,it was phone dude and I'm not afraid to admit he looked even better in person and is voice was deep...like really deep just like I thought it would be.

"Look,I'm so so sorry but I woke up yesterday with amnesia so I don't remember you and I feel really bad about that but I know we were close and I have your jacket and pictures on my phone,sorry"I offered the dude a weak smile,I honestly did feel bad he just...he looked so happy to see I was ok but then I dropped that bombshell it was like ripping off a band-aid and the look of hurt clear in those beautiful green eyes of his.I could stare in them forever.They make me feel safe,protected.

"I'm Tristan Beckett,your boyfriend,never thought I'd have to introduce myself to you Princess"He smiled with the hurt still clear on his face.

"That's fine with me honey but we can skip formalities"I joked

"You were in a coma for 3 months after you nearly died you wake up with amnesia but you still have that wit of yours,amazing"He remarked

"That's me...or at least it was"I finished with a sad smile

"Princess,it will be ok I promise,I'll help you remember"He sighed pulling me into a hug

"I want to remember but it's just so irritating!I looked through my pictures and I stopped on one of you because I recognised the jacket and I tried to remember because I felt like you were important but I just...I couldn't my head hurt and I'm on enough pain killers as it is but it still hurt"I cried into the crook of his neck

"It will all be ok,I could tell you everything about you but it will be too much for you all at once.Right now I'll help you with the basics like favourite things then we will slowly start on the bigger stuff"He whispered and just by him saying that I felt safe I was going to get my life back and Tristan was going to help me

"What's my pet name for you?"I asked curious even though he's only called me it once I'm guessing his for me was Princess

"Really,that's what you're going to ask?"He playfully raised an eyebrow at me

"It's a simple question and you called me Princess"I returned with a challenging glint in my eye

"I'm not very happy about telling you this but fine"He huffed "stupid as it sounds you call me cupcake or Tris"He huffed,I giggled

"Aww cupcake,please elaborate"I smiled

"I regret telling you that but when we first met I said something mean to you and you didn't like it so you stole my cupcake and smeared it across my face but you didn't know my name so you called me cupcake until you found out,I liked you because you're different from other girls"he smirked

"Liked?"I asked with a raised eyebrow,I'm not sure I'm happy with where this was going

"Yes liked princess,because now I love you"He admitted quite proudly too I'm nothing special...am I?
