"Don't worry about it"Luna laughed, and glanced at Bella and jasper who both gazed at her with wonder and something that Luna couldn't quite point out
Luna turned around hearing a cough, Nathan stood there, arms crossed and glaring at Edward
Nathan grasped his hand on Luna's arm and gently tugged her towards him "Luna let's go lunch is ending" Luna frowned, just noticing the students piling out the loud lunchroom
Jasper, Rosalie and Edward growled lowly at the unknown guy while Bella and Emmett glared at Nathan's hand that was pulling Luna away
Alice stiffened and gave a tight smile towards Nathan, hesitantly holding her hand out "Hi I'm Alice, these are my siblings, and you are?" Alice gestures towards the Cullen's who stood tense when she mentions them
Nathan eyed her for a bit before relaxing "Nathan, Luna's brother" he replied after a minute his deep voice and stiff posture slightly intimidating them
Luna snatched her arm from her brothers tight grip, the Cullen's sighing in relief their possessive side itching to be near their mate and another person touching her set them off
"BITCH HURRY UP" another voice shouted from across the lunchroom, sighing Luna turned to see her best friend waving dramatically
Rolling her eyes Luna waved goodbye to the Cullen's before dragging Avery away who wiggled her eyebrows as if to say 'get some'
Once Luna and Avery disappeared through the hallway, Nathan turned back to the Cullen's and glared
"Listen I get it, you think she's beautiful and nice but you can't be friends with her so just stay away" Nathan demanded, his protective side showing
Rosalie's eyes narrowed "excuse me" Rosalie snapped angrily, rising from her seat. Emmett quickly pushing her back down his touch calming her down slightly but her glare remained
Nathan rose a brow challengingly, Bella quickly spoke up before things could get worse "we get it she's your little sister and your protective but we're not going to hurt her we just want to be her friends" okay so that was a lie they wanted to be more than just friends but they were willing to wait however long she wanted
Nathan huffed before glancing at the clock "whatever, there's 3 minutes left so you might want to get to class" Nathan muttered, walking away
Once he was out of sight the Cullen's shared a look, grabbing their trays they threw out their untouched food and headed to class
