We arrived at the ice cream shop on the beach. We ordered and walked down to the water. I took off my cover up and so did the guys. I sat down in the sand while the guys were walking in the shallow parts or the ocean. "Hey, you ok?" Corbyn asked walking closer to me and sitting down in the sand next to me. I nodded my head and smiled watching the guys splash each other.
"I really like it here. It got me a chance to start over with all new people. And I can tell that some of them are going to be in my life forever" I said turning to look at him. He smiles his adorable smile while staring deep into my eyes.
"You know I'm going to be honest. When Jack first told me you were coming I was against it. I guess I was hurt by my past breakup that I thought all girls were going to hurt me, but I was wrong" he said. I nodded and looked back out to the ocean. Suddenly I felt Corbyn's arms snake around me and throw me over his shoulder.
"CORBYN BESSON! Put me down now!" I shouted. I heard him laugh lightly. He ran towards the water and threw me in before jumping in himself. When I got above the surface I looked at Corbyn and he knew I was going to kill him. He got out of the water took off running into the sand while all the guys were laughing at us. I chased him and when he was close enough I jumped on his back sending us to the ground laughing. Somehow when we fell we had moved to where I was laying on Corbyn's chest and he had his arms around me. "Hey bud you mind letting go so I can get up?" I said. I only said that because I could feel all the guys staring at us and I didn't particularly like it. He slowly let go and we both stood up. I could tell that I had hurt him by the look in his eyes. I smiled at him and slipped my hand in his. He intertwined our fingers and smiled back. When I think about how we have only met I felt slightly weird but it somehow feels like I have known him forever. What we have is definitely something different.
