Chapter 3 ~ Jumping

I woke up the next morning to the smell of delicious pancakes. I walked downstairs still in my pajama shorts and tank top. I looked in the kitchen to see all the boys sitting at the table talking and Corbyn making blueberry pancakes. I walked over to him and observed his cooking skills. He had burnt nearly every one of them. "Oh my you are not a very good cook are you?" I said laughing. He laughed too before shaking his head. "Here just go sit with the guys and I'll finish them up" I said taking the spatula from him.
About 10 minutes later the pancakes were all done. I placed a few on all of their plates and sat next to Corbyn. They all ate them like they haven't eaten in weeks. "So what's that plan for today?" Jonah asked.
"Well I was thinking we could take Sky to our spot" Corbyn said. I raised an eyebrow at him and gave him and confused look. "You'll see. Just go get changed into a swimsuit and meet us down here in 10" he said. I nodded and quickly finished my pancakes before going upstairs to change. I put on a simple black lace bikini. I put on a coverup and took my hair out of it's messy bun before brushing it out. I grabbed my phone and slipped on my shoes and some sunglasses. After I was ready I walked downstairs where the boys were already waiting. We all got into the car. Jack was driving, I was in the passenger seat, and Jonah, Zach, Daniel and Corbyn were all squished in the back. We began driving till we pulled up to a random nature trail.
"Where are we?" I asked. No one said anything but instead Corbyn grabbed my hand and ran down the path until we arrived at a cliff. I looked down to see a lake. I looked up and was about to say something but then Zach ran and jumped off the cliff and into the water. I took off my cover up and my shoes. I felt Jack and Corbyn stare at me but I just ignored them and jumped into the freezing water next to Zach.
"Come here Sky" Zach said. I swam closer to him and he put his arms around me trying to warm me up. I smiled and stayed there for a while before the rest of the guys came jumping in. We all laughed and stared splashing each other. I then decided I would play a prank on them but I wanted to get Corbyn in on it too. I swam over to him and whispered in his ear, "You down to play a prank on the guys?" He nodded. "We should try to get out without them seeing and go hide somewhere and see if they can find us" I said. He smiled and I could tell he was in. We swam over to the rocks and climber out while the boys were having a splash fight. We grabbed a towel and ran a little deeper into the trail. We lied the towel our and sat down. "How long till they notice?" I asked.
"Mmm five minutes or so" he said. "I'm really glad you came to LA. It makes our lives less boring, well besides the band and all that" he said looking off in the distance.
"I'm glad I came to" I said resting my head on his shoulder. He smiled and put his arm around me. I feel like we are in a relationship even though we literally know nothing about each other. "So did I help take your mind off of Christina?" I asked. He looked at me with his ocean eyes.
"Wow I didn't even realize. I have completely forgotten about her. Thanks nugget" Corbyn said. I laughed. We both looked at each other for a minute or too longer until we began to lean in. I was only inches away from his lips. I could feel his breath on my face. But of course the guys came running towards us screaming which ruined the moment.
"Woah did we interrupt something?" Jack said looking a bit hurt.
"No, we were...... just talking" Corbyn said standing up. I nodded my head in agreement. Corbyn reached out his hand and pulled me off of the ground. We grabbed the towel and we ran back to the car. "Ice cream?" Corbyn asked.
"Hell yeah!" the guys and I shouted. I connected my phone and blasted music on the way. I can already tell that living here will be the best days of my life.
