It seemed like we were dancing on a cloud because he made the evening so magical for me, I was in tears off and on from overwhelming happiness. But for as much fun and love as I was feeling with him, my feet were killing me, so we walked back to the table to sit for a while, so he could finally do his thing. Unnoticed to me Criss's family were now standing around the table behind me watching along with all the guests and workers at the restaurant, when Criss slowly approached me and dropped to his knees in front of me, then instead of using magic, he did it the old-fashioned way, and slowly revealed to me the most beautiful engagement ring I had ever seen in my life sitting in the center of a black velvet box.

Criss gently pulled out the ring, and as he held it to my hand without putting it on, he asked me if I would make him the happiest man on the planet, by accepting the terms of engagement with him. I was speechless and breathless at all that was happening...because I couldn't believe this was really happening to me! But I had to do something and not just sit there in an emotional stupor and make him think I wasn't interested, so I closed my eyes tightly for a few seconds then held out my hand for him to slide the ring on my finger for me, as I shook my head yes, as massive tears began to form in my eyes and slightly trickle down my face.

Criss's smile spread all the way across his face, at my acceptance, then he slid the ring on my finger and kissed my hand after putting it on me. Then all the lights in the room turned on real bright as everyone cheered as disco lights flickered and balloons fell from the top of the cabana after JD pulled the string. The music continued and we all danced, laughed, and spread the love during our engagement celebration. I looked around and Criss surprised me further when I saw all my girlfriends standing around me hooting and screaming in complete excitement and happiness for me.

But when Klayton came up behind me, he didn't have a very happy face, he pulled me toward him as we danced to a few songs then he told me that I was so engaging with the wrong guy because he wanted to be the one to ask me. Then he turned his frown upside down and said that we made a very adorable couple, and he wished me the best of luck...then as he kissed my lips he handed me back to Criss and added that if I ever changed my mind that I knew where to find him and that he would always be ready and available for me. Then he kissed my hand one more time and congratulated Criss and called him a shithead, then he left the party and went back to work.

Criss took his time as we danced and pointed out some of his buddies that I haven't met yet, but when he pointed out Sully to me of Godsmack, I stopped dancing with Criss and said he really needed to introduce me to him, because I was such a huge fan of his. Criss chuckled lightly as he told me that from what he could see, so was my girlfriend Sandy, because she was crawling all over him...and the silly shithead was soaking it all in. I looked over to where Sully was at, and sure enough, they were totally flirting and making passes at each other. 

Criss was getting ready to walk with me over to Sully to introduce us, but he didn't have to, because after Sully and Sandy's verbal conversation dried up, he looked over at us and ran up to us...and didn't stop until he jumped in Criss's arms and told him he was so pissed off at him for engaging himself to me instead of him. Then he kissed Criss on the cheek, and playfully dropped to the floor, then was up and right in front of me congratulating me with a huge sloppy kiss and told me to make sure I kept him on a short leash because he was quite the flirtatious bastard and loved to run around with loose and fast women. 

Criss slapped his head, and told Sully he was the only loose and fast pickup in the restaurant, then Criss kissed me and told me not to believe a damn thing Sully said because 9 out of 10 was a downright lie. Sully stuck out his tongue and said that it wouldn't matter if Criss was a runaround or not because I had two other sexy and available men that would gladly take his place by my side instead of him. Then he ran across the room so Criss wouldn't beat the shit out of him and went back to dancing and flirting with Sandy. Criss looked at me with the most loving expression on his face and asked me to take a little walk with him so we could have a little quiet/private time before we went home together.

JD noticed their mom getting tired, so he called Costa over and said he was going to take her back to the house, so she could get into something comfortable and get some sleep after all the fun and excitement we all had today. Costa agreed with him and said he would be right behind them, only instead of being alone, this time Costa actually managed to catch a girlfriend at the party, I decided not to tell him that he was dating my girlfriend Kim...and let him find out for himself. JD hasn't been in the dating mood since his wife of many years decided to call their relationship over with, and left him and moved back to Pennsylvania to be closer to her family, but they did have joint custody of their daughter Dimi. Until he met Rachel at the party, it was an electric connection at first sight for them both.
