Winter was at her worst this time of year. Far less merciful, far less gentle, and far less forgiving than the last. She drowned the world below her, in an eternal blanket of snow and ice. Those who wander out in the open are forever lost, within the night’s stormy wrath, of frozen's winter.

Winter bellows her anger in gusts of thunder. Her winds were long, harsh, cold and erratic. Snow, ice, and freezing rain, set ablaze among the pine needle forests. Each and every tree loomed the forest grounds, like skeletons of former selves, giving no ease to winter’s howls and cries.

Yet; not all were ever lost to her night’s storm. Caught in the middle of her wrath, was someone in question. Someone either extremely brave, or just plain crazy. He was crazy enough to fully challenge winter, at her highest peak of her night’s storm.

Long coffee black hair, whipped in his face and ears, causing the howling winds to whistle in high pitched frequencies. The ground grew deep in new feet of soft stuttering snow, it gave way once his hands and feet touches its surface, once he poured down his weight. The soft snow would melt, turning into more ice and making another challenge for him to concore.

The soft trench of snow revealed a rugged terrain of broken and dead forest plants, with frozen branches that cracked and brittle, from the storm’s heavy force. The branches and other materials were turned completely into shards of glass, causing his hands and feet to bleed in every step he took, transforming the snow from white to pink and red. Due to the fact; he has no proper clothing, to withstand winter’s mighty storm, her night’s blizzard.

Rags and old were all he wore: a torn shirt that was once white, now grey and matted. A torn deep blue vest and shorts did little in shielding him from the blizzard. His skin faded to the color of the frozen world around him, making his journey far impossible for him to continue.

He was heavily wounded, with three deep slashes that gored his side: one large slash was on his shoulder, above his collarbone. And two bigger, longer ones slashed his torso, each sprouting heavily onto the snow, with his own blood.

Life was rapidly draining from him, as his injuries steadily pour more blood, and his last remaining strength. He desperately needs to hide, and renew his strength, as fast as possible. Despite winter’s brutal storm, he has to hide from whoever gave him his ugly wounds, whoever it was, is still tracking him.

And where he was, he wasn't so sure. Knowing that no one was around this part of territory, and if there were people, they won’t be so gladly on sharing which route for him to take. Maybe another hunting preserve, for the few locals around here. If there were anyone here, really.

Another set back hits him hard in the face. (A branch above him broke, and a large clump of snow slaps his face.) Who was willing to house him? Especially learning, who and what he is, and what he has done? How will he ever make it out of this one now? What can he do now? Now that he's been hunted, for the things he's been told to do?

This all together has doomed him: first, his unerasable mistake with his former master. Second; the things he was bread up to do was now after his neck! And third, a terrible bounty hunter is after his hide and his head!! Lastly, this blasted storm!! He has to fight through, just to find somewhere safe and make it out alive just to see another sunrise. If he's lucky.

He can never catch a break with this.

Yes, having to admit it, he was lost. Terribly lost, and horribly weak, and wounded. But sadly, having little choice, he prefers to be lost and alone and dying than found. He shook off the snow and his long bangs from his face. The snow above the tree lines pelted his face stinging his eyes, making them watered. He forces his cold numbing body onwards, determined to live another day at least.
