walking through this empty garden
i look around and see ashes and dying embers
remains of the fire that consumed house and home
up ahead sits a rose bush
all burnt except one
snow white
innocence surrounded by darkness
sweeping my cloak behind me
i pluck it before the flames consume it
the last shred of innocence in a dark, sin filled garden
