Chapter 2

New school and a new life.

After the talk with my mom, I went to the bathroom and set up my make-up stuff. I still had to hang half of my clothes up but the music through my stereo was way too loud for my liking but I had nothing better to do, except for packing my clothes and things of course.

After a shower and with COLD water because the warm water wouldn’t work, I am now lying in bed thinking about if I’ve made the right decision coming here. I know it was my choice to come here and my parents have presented me with everything I will need, car, apartment at a five star hotel (one of our hotels that’s in my name) and everything I wanted.

After thinking about the possibilities of how it could turn out, my life as a normal teen……. I don’t know about you but I’m kind of nervous.  What if I meet a special someone? Can he keep up to my father’s interrogation? Or will he run of like you see in movies? Well I know that it go either bad or good but I’m gonna try to make it go through the right way.

Finally after 30 minutes of reading “firelight” by Sophie Jordan. She is the best writer love her. I went to tie my hair up and wash my face and teeth and wear my pyjamas, I went to sleep after checking that I have everything I need for tomorrow.

Curling the last piece of hair I turn to look at myself, my outfit is fit for a sunny day at California. It’s 83 degrees today, so I’m wearing a white loose top and blue jean shorts that stop 3cm above my knees and black flats with spikes behind them and a zipper. Now I’m wondering if it shows too much skin? I can’t change it now so I grab my sunglasses my IPhone 5s and keys and lock the door and head to my car outside the gates of the hotel.

As I drive in the school parking lot, most of the male eyes turn towards my car, as I step out of the car my curls bouncing on my shoulders as I walk past all the hanging jaws. As I move forward to open the door to go inside to open the door, I feel a presence behind me and turn around only to be faced with a blond who is surprisingly pretty but too much make-up and two other blondes behind her I’m guessing she is the queen Bee?

“you certainly know how to make an entrance? Too bad all eyes turn to us when we walk out.” Said the leader and I just replied it with a smirk. I thought it’s gonna be an interesting year.

“ yeah I do know how to make Entrance and get all the eyes if I wanted too bad I don’t show too much skin like a prostitute up for a show at an old bar.” I said straight to her face I know it’s mean but hey she was the one that started it.

“well see you around little girl, and don’t forget to tell daddy not to raise your expectations. If you know what I mean?” she said turning around.

“sure will and tell your daddy to teach you some manners of how to talk to a new girl at school, yeah.” I said and turned around to walk in the building.

“finally last lesson. And hey violet I have to go yeah ttyl and tell madi I said hi. That should give you two something to talk about. Since you go blank when you see him.” I said to my best friend and madi is her crush since we were 8.

“I will and kick that bitches ass for me will ya……….. Collins.”

“sure will purple!!” she hates it when I call her purple because it’s the closest colour to violet that I know of and btw I painted one side of my room violet to tease her and she calls me Collins by my last name to anger me but hey I don’t get offended easily.

“Bye vivi love ya.”

“You too. Bye it’s really boring here without you.”

“I know but I really have to go.”

“Ok bye.”

“Bye.”

As I hung up on the phone I found my last class maths and I love maths call me a freak but hey I got the brains and I did year 10 maths in year 8. My uncles tell me I got the brains from my dad and the smart decision making from my mom. I guess they are right, my mom does make the decisions for the company while my dad does the paper filling.

“ good of you to join us Ms. Collins…… class this is our new student she will be at this class for the rest of the year and be polite to her I expect no putdowns JOANA I’m talking to you. Don’t apply one of your stupid tricks on her.” He said and the class groaned I think it’s weird.

“miss Collins please have a seat and I’ll be helping you in 5.” He said as I made my way to back of the class.

“Hey hottie wanna go to the party this Friday afternoon?” asked a guy with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes with a hard jaw and muscular body I’m guessing this is the ‘top jock’.

“No thanks.” I said as I turned back to the book I was answering questions to. It’s was easy to say the least.

“Come on every one will be there and besides I can show you a real good time.” He said winking at me to which I responded with a snort and a wrinkle of my nose.

“I already said no thanks and if you want to show a good time I’m guessing summer would be good for that. Btw I found out her name was summer and she is supposedly the richest girl in school well she has another thing coming at her.

Thanks for reading and sorry it’s a little late but it’s the holidays and meaning I get to write a lot more and I don’t live in California but I would like to go there sometime and I just got this story made and plotted so don’t judge.
