Chapter 4 - ' This isn't a date...'

" do you love me Inojin?! " I said to my mirror in a serious tone "... Do... You love me...???"  I asked the mirror in a shy way " do you love me or not?!" I said as I punched the edge of the mirror, I was tying my hair into a high ponytail. I was practicing on how I will ask Inojin about his feelings for me. Then mom entered.

"mom. Should I be serious, or sympathetic, or shy, or friendly, or act like its nothing, or--... Mom...?  " I asked as I saw mom zoning out.

" you have a friend at the door... " she said pointing to the door and leaving me with silence.

"... OK...?"  I said to myself.

Hinata's P.O.V.

I was in the kitchen preparing breakfast. Then someone came and hugged me from behind.

" good morning~" Naruto said, as he hugged me from behind " I took a day off today. One of Shikamaru or Kakashi are gonna take care of work for me" he whispered in my ear. I blushed furiously, and tried to push him away gently. But it looks like his muscles were attached to me... Oh god...

" please... Just don't.... Do it anywhere... But....... Not here... " Boruto said. I jumped up and pushed Naruto away.

" oh!! B-b-boruto! Ummm... Do you need something sweetie??? " I asked sweating like crazy. But he just sighed a discussed one, and left... Phew... But then Naruto hugged me again.

" no Naruto! After the kids leave!! " I said a little bit angry. And he raised his hands in defence.

"..... I'll be in the bathroom... If you need me~" he said and then left. When has Naruto ever been that seductive...? I asked myself. But then the door bell rang, and I went to open it. And there stood a boy, who was of coarse taller than me. He had strangely familiar hair, and this pale skin, with those blue eyes that I could never forget... Toneri...?! His eyes widened as he saw me, and then looked anywhere except for my eyes.

"... Is Himawari here...? " he asked looking at the ground.

"...... Who are you...?"  I asked in a motherly serious tone. He looked at me.

" I am her friend Tonekai. I go to the same school as her. And I live just a few blocks away, so I figured that I could walk her to school... " he said...no way... This can't be Toneri for sure, but he looks so much like him. But I can't let someone that is so familiar to Toneri get near my girl. Until I at least know who his parents are. And he can't be Toneri's kid, 'cause it's not possible.

" sorry. But the driver takes her everyday to school. And her father strictly ordered that she could not go with anyone else. Since she is the daughter of the president and could get hurt for some political reasons. So I am afraid that I can't accept your request " I stood straight, and said those word with seriousness in my voice... Smooth Hinata, smooth.

"... Well can I just see her for one minute" he said giving me a handsome look... Don't get effected Hinata!

" sure " wait, what?! I then went upstairs, still progressing why I accepted. But then I knocked on my daughters bedroom door...

Himawari's P.O.V.
... Tonekai wants me? Why...? I asked myself as I was standing in front of him.

" hey Tonekai! What's up? " I asked with a grin. He sighed.

" I just wanted to walk you to school, but your mother said you can't because of your father...? " he said.

" yeah... Sorry 'bout that. But... If you walk me to school... Won't people think we're an item? " I said. And he scratched the back of his neck.

" well I just felt kinda protective of you... " he said as he rested his arm on the door frame. While scratching the back of his neck, hiding his face with his elbow. I took a while to process what he just said. Then it felt awkward " I'll leave now " he said and dashed off, and didn't even give me a chance to say goodbye... And they say we are complicated... I thought as I crossed my arms. Then the door was shut off, and mom gave me an evil look.
