The Temple's Champ

Entry to Glitch's Kik Comps, Glitch's Temple

Suddenly, I was inside this temple, Glitch's Temple to be exact according to the ancient writings which are written in its sandstone walls.

With me are some random people who I haven't seen anywhere or anytime, containing puzzled faces too like me.

Inside this mysterious place are vines and moss and what catches my eye is the glowing sword in one its boulders.

I approached the shining weapon and atop of the boulder said:

Only the chosen one can see and take this sword and save the rest of the world from an upcoming apocalypse.

And I realized that I will carry a big responsibility soon...

I asked the other people: "Do you guys see a sword?" I pointed at the weapon.

I got no answers, just expressions. They were confused of what I'm talking about and they could be thinking that I'm crazy.

After a few seconds of hesitation, I finally touched the handle. A great amount of aura was delivered into my body.

The sword shone brighter and I felt so alive.

I tried to pull the weapon out of the enormous rock. I won't budge.

I pulled it again with all my newly gathered strength given by the energy it given me. It's almost out.

And for the last time, I pulled it.

It came out and white flashes engulfed me. I felt that I absorbed all of its energy. I feel so strong and wise.

The bright light faded and all of the other people were gone. Just me, left alone.

And a voice that echoes throughout the place was heard.

Finally, after hundreds of millennia, The Champ arrived! I'm so glad that you are finally here, Champ of the Temple.

"Woah, who are you?"

I am Naomi, I am the goddess of dragons and goddess of the future. Delve in the Glitch's Temple deeper and stop the upcoming chaos that humanity will face.

"What? I'm not really an experienced warrior."

That's why I am here. I will be your guide through your journey, follow my voice and you will be in the right path to be the savior, to be the Champ of the Temple.

After that first encounter with Deity Naomi, with my shiny new sword in hand, I gathered all my courage and strength and went in to the temple deeper.

At first, I don't even know what my objective is. I don't even know if I should trust Naomi or even myself in this journey.

But as the time goes on, my whole trip to save the world became clear. Every challenge that the Temple have thrown me made my very objective and its origin visible.

After the creation of this very temple and the world, there stood two powerful immortals, Lord Glitch and Demon Leo. Leo wants to conquer and own the world for himself but Glitch, after a war between them that took centuries, governed the whole world through his own religion that involves this temple to be the base of beliefs of his followers.

Then after Glitch got the powers to rule over the world peacefully, he banished Leo in the deepest underground jail where he can never return to human world again. Glitch then made two creatures that can help him to make Earth peaceful, namely Deity Andrew and Deity Naomi.

But then, nowadays, it is said Leo had made his escape and is now making his way to this temple and take the power from Glitch. And that's how I'm involved. I was the chosen one who needs to help Lord Glitch.

After many of challenges that I overcame in this temple, I also met the people who were the ones I am with at the very beginning. Naomi said that they were chosen ones to but I was the one who really deserved it.

And all the obstacles I faced were the ones which honed me to be the warrior that can defeat Leo.

And now, I am currently standing mightily at the said-to-be end of this temple where I need to face Leo.

After years of training with the help of Naomi and Andrew, I am an experienced warrior.

The huge gate has opened and there sat Glitch with glowing bloodshot eyes. And he spoke in a very deep voice:

"Haha! Well, warrior, you are very late! I was waiting for you this whole time!"

I didn't replied. Instead of rambling, I gripped my sword tightly, preparing myself for this fight.

"Warrior, you don't want to speak with me? Well, that's so rude of you!"

And I backed up a bit since he stood up his throne, forming a red shards in his fist.

I raised my sword for defense.

"I am really excited to crush you. Do you know that the Naomi and Andrew you communicated with since the beginning is actually controlled by me?"

I was shocked but that shouldn't let me out of focus.

"And the whole concept of the deadly challenges within this temple aren't to hone you. Those are my attempts to kill you, but I failed with them and now I won't."

I charged at him and he charged at me with his mythical red sword.

A few hours passed and the battle is still on. Finally, I took advantage since I pinned him down.

I raised my sword and took all my strength and pierced it right into his heart.

And then all I see was the void, the darkness. And all I hear is the deafening silence until...

"Sky, wake up!"

Mom tapped my shoulder to wake me up.

"It's time for your school trip to the mysterious temple deep in the jungle! Aren't you excited?"

I remained silent thinking that all of those battle with Leo in the Temple because of the mission to save Glitch and the humanity was all a dream.

It was all a dream...

A vision...

A prophecy...

That says in the future I will experience the same things...

I will be the Temple's Champ.
