Chapter 3

Alexa's pov

I wake up before my alarm start ringing I just got out from the shower and turn my alarm off

I'm really excited for today but at the same time I'm kinda nervous because my boss just approve my presentation which means I'll be the one who will present our proposal to our big time client and close the deal I've been preparing for this for a long time.

I took another glance of myself in the mirror to examine my look and my outfit I had on long jeans and a sleeveless top but I top it up with coat to look more pleasant and professional, I let my curly hair down and put on my heels. After I get dressed I put my laptop on my bag and gather all the things I needed.

Instead of arriving 20 minutes to the company I spent 40 minutes because my damn car's tire got flat while I'm on the road thank God there is a close car shop so I can have it fix and get it later.

I was now walking well I was kinda walking really fast more likely running since the company are only one block away so why not and it is hard to get a cab while I was hastily walking a fast car ran right in front of me which cause me to drop my bag that has my laptop I was stop by my track I nearly get hit by a car my heartbeat are racing fast.

I really thought it was gonna hit me but thank God it didn't the car stop and the driver walk out and its the same rude dude from yesterday this only cause my blood boil.

You again! I yelled "can't you see there is a lot of people who are walking here and your the only one who's driving here like you are in a damn race" He just looked at me like dead in the eyes like what happened is no big deal I walk closer to him "did you see that bag my laptop was in there and it might've broken so now my job is mess up" He continue to stare but he walked to his car to get something "Uh don't you realize that you almost kill me" I said to him emphasizing the word 'kill me' I continue to rant until he handed me a check that worth 100,000$ "buy yourself a new laptop" he said I looked at him shocked "Well if you think money can solve anything well it's not and I don't need your money and is that how your parents raise you, you should show more respect and learn how to apologize" I rolled my eyes and get my bag and walk away that dude is really irritating.

As I got to the office well my team immediately swarm me "Alexa is everything okay" Rainey asked me once she saw my worried look "No, my laptop is broken" I said "What, oh God what are we going to do now" Celine said I try to think of something then suddenly I remember I put on a copy in Chynne's laptop "Chynne can I see your laptop" I said, Chynne immediately get her laptop we open it and hope the copy is still there luckily it has "Oh thank God" I said happily and we are now relief.

Guys are you now ready? Mr. Curry is here our boss said I nodded my head and smile but someone caught the side of my eye its the rude dude who I encounter yesterday and this early morning when I get here I immediately grabbed Vanessa's body and hide my face on her stomach even though we're not close "What are you doing" she said I just ignore her Oh my God I said a lot of bad things to that dude its not like he doesn't deserved it I'm just scared if it will affect on my presentation or he will not approve it because I'm the one who is presenting.

"God help me" I mumble
