Chapter 4

Alexa's pov

I was now at the bathroom of the office calming myself "I can do this" I murmured to myself "Alexa are you ready Mr. Curry is now in the room, come out now" Rainey said " I'll be there in a minute" I said when Rainey is gone I got out the bathroom and saw Mr. Curry sitting on the chair I ducked down while walking so he couldn't see me and instead of explaining my proposal while standing up I remained squated on the ground while presenting its like watching a video

When I finished my presentation everybody in the room clapped as well as the guy that is with Mr. Curry after that I stand up smiling looking at Mr. Curry his facial expression didn't change like he wasn't surprise to see me

the room were quiet and I nervously waited for what he's going to say then suddenly he spoke up breaking the silence

"I don't like it" He simply said while looking straight into my eyes, my expression fell down and my heart sunk

"Eden Resort are not just for the family or couples it is also for someone who wanted to recognize themselves and wanted to tour alone and relax alone" he said while looking at me "Family is important to ou-" "Do you think that if somebody make mistake you should also involve their parents, do you think in every bad decisions you made in your life your parents are involved to it" he said while cutting me off

"No sir" I said to him "Maybe you should do more research" he said before getting up and leaving the room

"Now what are we going to do if we didn't close this deal with Mr. Curry our company will face bankruptcy, we're doomed" my boss said

"I told you sir if you given me this project we will close this deal in no time but instead you choose Alexa" Vanessa said

I run out of the office and follow Mr. Curry by the time I get out he was in his car ready to leave "Wait sir" I called out while running but he continued to pulled up I immediately ran in front his car, he stopped before he's going to hit me

"Are you really wanted to be hit by the car" he said getting out of his car while slamming the door "Sir, please listen to me if this is about our personal encounter, I-I'm sorry please give me another chance sir we really need this please sir if you want to get mad at me go a head but please sir just give us another chance or if you want Vanessa will be the one who will present our new proposal please sir just one chance" I said he just continue to stare me while he's eyes landed on my lips then to my neck while biting his bottom lip I looked down  feeling a bit conscious about myself

He grabbed something in his coat and he grabbed my arm he put a check in my arm "Your laptop is broken buy a new one and I'll expect you to come up with new presentation next Monday" he said while walking back to his car " Thank you sir and I promise I'll do my research I said then I get back to the building
