I woke up with sun rays hitting my face and filling up the room. My room was covered with constellation posters and also hacking sites on a post-it. Yes, I'm not normal but I was influenced by my sister, Emily and I'm happy that she did. I've always wanted to help people and this is how I got to do it. Oh hello reader! I'm Hope Patterson. Emily's younger sister. I still go to school and she was the one who always pays my school fees. I owe so much to her.

I came out from my room and saw my sister on the couch, asleep. I felt pity for her because she couldn't get enough sleep for the past few days because of Borden. He hurt her badly and I'm glad he's dead or I would've killed him myself. I smiled and grabbed her blanket from her room. When I entered, I could see all the pictures of Jane's tattoo's on her wall. I've always wanted to figure out at least one of her tattoos but Emily wouldn't let me.

I grabbed the blanket and headed towards the couch. I could see her tired face and I placed the blanket on her. I headed over to the kitchen and made some breakfast for the both of us. After some time, I ate mine and I saw the clock. I was running late for class. I quickly showered and got dressed. Before I left, I left a note on the kitchen table for Emily, 'Make sure you have some breakfast before you go to work. Love you.'.

I ran from the apartment and headed for the school which was 2 miles from there. I loved to run so I was quiet fast. Once I got to school, the bell finally rang. I arrived just in time. I headed for class and started learning. But also, my mind is thinking of Emily because we always help each other and I always wanted to help her.

Emily finally woke up and she grunted because her phone was going off. It was her alarm. She got up and headed for the kitchen. She saw the note and smiled. She ate the food and quickly got dressed for work. She left the apartment as well and walked to work. But the thing she did not know was she was being followed from behind.

She arrived to work and headed for the elevator. There he met Jack, a forensic analyser from level 3. She was acting foolishly and talked clumsily, luckily Tasha came inside the elevator before Emily could embarrass herself. Once she got to her floor, she walked out as fast as she could. She headed for her lab. There, she was working at a new tattoo that Jane had.

The day was tough for both of us but we brushed it off like it was nothing. The day was ending and school was over. I headed over to the FBI building and asked the informant where Patterson was. The person said that she was one the 32nd floor. I nodded and said thanks. I quickly got into the elevator and went up. No one knows Emily's full name but she said to not tell anyone. The reason? I don't really know. It wasn't a long ride going up but once I did, everyone looked at me like I was a ghost or something.

I walked alone and Tasha, who I knew came up to me and hugged me, "Hey kiddo. What are you doing here?" I smiled and told her that I was going to wait for Emily. She nodded and brought me to her lab. There she was typing away. I could see her focused, just looking at the computer screen. I called out her name and she looked at me.

"Wha- what are you doing here? Someone could've followed you."She said firmly. I told her that no one followed me here. She was quiet paranoid ever since Borden died. She wrecked the apartment once and I had to comfort her. I understood her paranoia. She went back to the computer and just started typing again.

I looked at her computer and saw one of Jane's tattoos. She was trying to figure out what it meant. I decided to help her, at least she could come back home early. Instantly I knew what it was, the gibberish on Jane's forearm was hackable because it had a coded text that I recognised. I told Emily about it, she told me that she did not know how to hack it as she does not recognize it. So, she had to get a guy named Rich to help. I nodded and she called Rich and the rest of the team.
