Chapter 6// No Going Outside Alone

Zach's POV

I can't believe Jonah actually did it. He hit me. No he didn't hit you he punished you.My conscious mind argues back. One thing for certain is I won't be swearing around him anytime soon.
Ping. My cell goes off from next to me on the bench. You see I'm not supposed to be out of the house when the boys aren't with me so this could be bad. Looking at it i see my worse nightmare and realise the boys have been texting me.

Wizard 🧙‍♂️- Hey Zach buddy we are at the store now do you need anything. Can you put the chicken in the oven?

Chev🐙- Zach are you at home ?

Noodles 🍝- Zachary my brother Jonah's freaking you haven't replied to him or Corbs. Where are you bro?

Giraffe 🦒- Zach?

Wizard 🧙‍♂️- Zachary Dean Herron I suggest you answer your cell before we have a repeat of yesterday.

15 missed calls from Wizard 🧙‍♂️

Shit I only wanted some air. Before I could figure out what to do my phone started to ring again. I look at the screen and see Jack's caller Id so I answer
(Jack italics , Zach normal , Jonah bold )

Hello ? I say timidly
Zach we've been so worried why hadn't you answered your cell?
I'm sorry I just needed some time to think things over
And where are you
In the house
Zach it's Jonah don't lie to us we know you aren't there
I'm in the house.
So our maid is lying and so is the cctv?
I'm sorry
Save your apologies for later just get back in the house we will be home in 5 minutes if you aren't there you will be in more trouble am I understood
Yes Jonah
Good boy now get running.

I hang up the phone and take one final look at my surroundings before I quickly walk home. Just as I get on the driveway the boys pull up on the drive. The car doesn't even stop before Jonah exits it and quickly grabs me. Sending 5 hard swats to my behind he picks me up and brings me in for a cuddle.
"You had me so worried Zach" he says whilst holding onto me tightly. The others soon join in. After being held for a few minutes I begin to shiver. I didn't bring a jacket with me and it's a pretty cold day. With another shiver I look to the sky and notice it's dark. I must of been outside for ages no wonder they were worried. Jonah looks down and sends a quick kiss to my forehead leaving his lips pressed firmly against my head for a while. I feel Jonah begin to walk inside and sigh knowing what I did is not going to go unspoken about.
