Chapter one - Connor:
I opened my eyes and blinding lights hit me. God, I never left the curtain open, what happened? Oh, wait, this wasn’t my room. I turned my head to the side and saw some blonde chick next to me. I smiled, even though my arm was trapped under her body. Shit, what was her name again? I wanted to say Sarah, but the name Sabrina stuck in my head, or was that the chick from the night before.
Right, I had to leave before she woke up, even though she was sleeping on my damn arm. Right, maybe I could just do the tablecloth trick to get her off my arm. Just one, fast, smooth motion. “Three, two, one,” I pulled my arm quickly but she didn’t get out. “Dammit,” Oh god, she had woken up, she turned to me and gave a smile. Great. She had morning breath.
“Good morning,” she whispered.
“Morning,” I muttered. I forced a fake smile onto my face then stared at my pack of fags on the floor. God, I wanted one. The girl got out of bed and bent down for her jeans. I stared at her ass and smiled, her ass was great.
“Listen, I think last night was a mistake,” she told me. I smiled then got out of the bed myself and shoved on my clothes. I picked up my fags and took one out, then shoved it between my teeth then lit it. It tasted so good.
“Oh really?” She glared at my fag for a second then looked up at my eyes, I just smiled.
“Yeah, maybe we should go out for breakfast and get to know each other, you know, have a date,” I rolled my eyes. This was why I always left before the stupid girls woke up.
“No sex?” I asked. I smiled as I spoke then leaned against the wall, she looked at me and crossed her arms.
“No. I always do this…”
“Do what?” I interrupted.
“Sleep with guys. I mean, I want to get to know you, date properly,” oh god. No. No. No. I wasn’t about to date, that wasn’t me? No sex. Way too much hard work. I rolled my eyes and looked at her, then chewed on the fag a little.
“Listen, Sabrina…”
“My name isn’t Sabrina!” Shit.
“Really?” I smiled and chewed on the fag in the corner of my mouth.
“My name is Laura!” She yelled. Crap.
“Right, I should go,” that was the exact reason I left before the girls woke up. I bit my lip and looked at her, then walked towards the door.
“Yes, maybe you should,” she snarled. I stopped at the door and smiled.
