Connor has issues, serious issues. If he doesn't give those gangs the money he owes he's dead.

Nicolette, or Nikki, also has issues. She has OCD, a moderate case, but it's getting better. However, this particular issue, is harming her life.

When these two collide, and get entangled in each other's problems, small issues become big, and big issues become huge.
