As I ran through the halls of the
Academy of Arts University, I saw my best friend, Landon, as he slouched his tall frame, just barely glancing at me with his deep hazel eyes. He has a scruffy goatee. " Have you found you a man, or woman,...... or intergalactic space monster yet," I asked only slightly making fun of the fact he is bi. " oh wow," he responded. " smooth!
Anyways, how have you been?" He asked "you found you a guy yet"
I wish.
"Guess whoooooo!!" a familiar feminine voice said excitedly from behind me while covering my eyes with her dainty fingers.
" Jeniffer Lopez!?"
" no, silly. I wish I can sing like that. Guess again"
" sorry, Randi. I have to get to class."
I turned to look at Randi and her perfect blonde hair. She's so pale she can almost be considered albino. Most people would say, are you okay Randi? You look like you've seen a ghost, if that person does not know Randi.
"Awe maaaan!!" She said holding out the word longer than would be considered "normal". She always does this. She always has.
" well then, I'll see you later. Oh, and by the way, you sing better than Jeniffer Lopez and Beyoncé combined." I had turned away to leave after she faintly smiled to herself.
After a long bit of fast-walking, I finally made it to music class, my major.
"Finally!" Said Jerald, another one of my antisocial friends. He was my partner for a project.
This is going to be a long year. My first year at that.
After all of my classes were over I decided to hang out with my friends tonight. 19......dammit that's not old old enough to drink.
" Ugh!!!! WHYYY!!!" I shouted. My roomie probably thinks I'm going crazy. " why, what?" She asked. " oh, um, nothing," she gives me a doubtful glare and then eases her facial expression, shaking her head. " ok,"
Stepping out into the cold winter air, I feel as though I'm frozen.
I wish I had a handsome man
The cold air reminded me of something horrible. Something dreadful.
" oh God" I had said, almost vomiting at the thought of it. Jerald popped
out of his dorm room. He's hot, don't get me wrong, but he's not my type. Still though, his presence and warmth is enough to keep me company in this cold weather. He makes me comfortable. That's why he is my best friend. I mean, yeah i love him, but not like that.
"What were you screaming about." He asked. My eyes began to well up in tears. He pulled me into his muscular torso. "I'm so sorry," i told him. After a moment of silence he asked, "well why don't we get going? You want to ride with me Tasha?"
"If you don't mind."
We both got in his ford truck. Though there is enough room for the hole group in here, that doesn't change the fact that we were asked to meet up, not pick up. He started the vehicle.
