Brent's apartment wasn't anything special. It consisted of one living room, one tiny kitchen, one bedroom, and one bathroom, but that was all he needed. We awkwardly sat on the couch and consumed our meals.

"You do realize we just ate, like 30 minutes ago?" I asked though bites of food.

"Yes, I do." He replied. "But you see, my stomach is a bottomless pit that can never be filled by any amount of food."

I laughed and got up to throw my trash away.

"Do you wanna watch a movie,or something?" He asked.

"Sure." I said, sitting down on the brown, leather couch.

"What m-" he said, before I placed my index finger on his lips.

"Brent Rivera, I thought I told you to never ask me that question." I said. "You decide."

He blinked and began scrolling through the movies that were available on Netflix. He finally decided on "The Little Mermaid." Once again, that was my favorite movie.

"I never thought a guy like you would pick a movie like that." I said.

He blushed a light shade of pink and said "well, I really like Disney and this happens to be one of my favorites." He glanced down at my body, noticed the goosebumps on my arms and asked "are you cold?"

"A little." I lied. I got goosebumps every time I got near him. It wasn't just because he was one of the most gorgeous people I've ever laid eyes on, but it was some sort of connection that I couldn't understand. He returned with a soft, brown blanket. He gently covered me with it and plopped down on his side of the couch. He made hilarious side remarks as we watched the movie and sang along with every single song. By the time the movie was over, it was about 4:00. We decided that we would watch another movie and order pizza for dinner. I would have never thought a lunch date would take up my whole afternoon, but I was not upset at all. In fact, I was overjoyed. We decided we would watch "The Lion King" to end the evening. About a quarter through the movie, I found myself scooting toward him a little, but I didn't bother to scoot back. I wanted to snuggle up with him so bad, but knew I couldn't. I sighed and set my hand on the couch cushion, but what my hand landed on was not a cushion, it was a hand. Brent's hand, to be exact. My cheeks burned and I could feel beads of sweat on my neck, but I couldn't force myself to pull my hand away. Brent slowly turned to me and looked down at our touching hands.

"I'm s-sorry." I mumbled, pulling my hand away.

Before I could place my hand back into my lap, Brent grabbed it with his other hand and held it.

"No, I'm sorry." He said.

"For what?" I asked quietly.

" For not doing this much earlier." He said, cupping my face with his hand and leaning in. My heart was pounding in my chest and I felt my whole body tense up, but somehow my brain knew just what to do. I closed my eyes and placed my hands on the back of his head, forcing our lips together. I felt him grin against my lips. We kissed for a few more seconds when we both slowly pulled away at the same time, sitting there with our noses touching.

"That was my first kiss." I whispered.

"Me too." Brent said, quietly.

"Well, I think we did pretty good." I said.

"Agreed." He replied. "I just realized that we forgot to order pizza."

My eyes widened and I said "And I just realized that I'm supposed to graduate in five minutes."
