Emily Fields falls into the arms of Spencer Hastings. The words Maya and dead don't go well together. When Emily's mom said they found Maya's body, Emily's world shattered over those words. She couldn't believe it. She couldn't be dead. She couldn't.
When she saw the stretcher rolling out of Alison DiLaurentis's house, She couldn't believe it. It was real. This was real.
She had fallen into Spencer's arms, hanging onto dear life. She couldn't do it. She allowed a heaving sob to escape her throat and she fell to the floor, screaming, "Why!? Why her?!"
Emily had gone home that night sobbing, thinking, My life's over. I miss her too mcuh for my own good already.
She cried herself to sleep that night and the following thirty nights. Until something happened.
