Once Emily gets out of the car, her heart stops. She hears a scream.
Maya!
She rushes into the main building.
"Maya!?" She yells. "Where are you!?"
"Em!?" Maya's voice, says, weak. "I'm-
Her voice is cut off as she yells out a pierced scream.
"MAYA! I'M COMING!"
Her voice had come from the gym, and Emily pushes the doors open.
Her eyes widen in shock.
Paige, her ex-girlfriend, has Maya against the locker, choking her.
"Paige, let her go. NOW!"
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Miss Liar. I've got Maya, and she's mine."
Emily's face flushes as Maya looks at her with the saddest eyes.
Emily runs and pushes Paige out of the way, into the lockers.
Emily grabs Maya's hands and they run.
