"Hey," Ben waves coolly, seating himself down at the table where I'm feeding Clarabella from a plastic baby bottle filled with "milk" (white-food-colored water).
"Please, have a seat," I gesture for him to sit down where he already has crossed his legs comfortably. Benjamin laughs.
"You're quite the clown," he smiles, cocking his head slightly to the left. I smile back. "You look prettier when you smile," he comments. "It's cute when your dimples show." I only hope he doesn't see my flaming ears right now.
"Thanks," I manage to reply. "So, about the baby..."
