I see Melody trying to comfort Rose and I feel dread. "Diana do you think we're stuck? What was that crack?" I lean into Diana. "I don't know. Let me see." Diana dangles herself over the edge. "I don't- Ahh!" Diana slips over the edge. "Diana!" I screech and dive to grab her legs. "Melody, Rose! I need help!" They stop their conversation and rush over to help me. It takes awhile but we pull Diana back over onto the Ferris wheel.
"I think we're stuck." Diana sighs. We stare at her. "You think?" Melody chuckles. "I guess we are." Diana sighs louder this time. "How about we get to know each other?" Melody suggests. Diana smiles, "good idea!" She exclaims. "Well, before anything I and Rowen are a couple, not just friends."
We talk about ourselves for awhile and things feel less awkward. It's getting late and we're all sleepy. "I guess we should try and nap. I see people down there working on fixing the Ferris wheel but it could take awhile." Rose comments, we all agree and I snuggle up next to Diana.
"How long do you think we'll be stuck?" I whisper. "I don't know. They should have it fixed soon though." We look over the fair the bright lights illuminating the area. "I could really use some more cotton candy." Diana sighed. "You and your cotton candy!" I laugh.
Melody looks at us and laughs, "Rose loves fried dough." Rose is fast asleep her face shows fear and sadness. "Are you and rose an item?" I ask tentatively, the more I talk to Melody the more I Like her. "Yes. But she's shy about it." Melody gazes at Rose with such love. "I think you two are a cute ship. If only I was twelve again! I would squeal." Diana chuckles we all laugh at that.
After our little giggle-thon, I fall into Diana's arms and into a deep slumber.
