Chapter 3: Waking Up In Another World

Katie's eyes were closed as she laid... Something that is soft. Like a blanket. The red velvet girl heard someone calling her name out as she opens her eyes. As she sees, Arthur and Ivan were hovering over her as she wakes up.

"Guys?" Katie asked as she gets up, "what happen?"

"It would seem magic excite after all," Ivan smirked, but his voice says differently.

"Hey! Don't be pointing fingers at me!" Arthur said, "I'm not the one who got us into this mess!" Katie look to the side as she started to think it could be Arthur fault. He was the one who opens the book. Well, curiosity killed the cat. Or in this case, curiosity lead the cat inside of a book that they are stuck in an unknown forest!

"Where are the others?" Katie then just realize that Alfred, and the rest, weren't here.

"When I open the book," Arthur started, "The others were sent somewhere else. We don't know but hopefully that Alfred is going to be alright."

They heard a voice clearing its throat. The trio turns to see a female standing by one of the trees as she crosses her arms.

"I've believed you're forgetting someone," the girl said with a Britsh accent. She wore a coal black jacket with an emerald green shirt that is showing a bit of her cleavage and wore emerald green pants. Her shoes were black with heels at the end and a bit emerald gems were on the heels. The girl even wore a monocle on her left eye as a black hat with a green ribbon was wrapped around it.

"Who are you?" the trio asked.

"Trouble sum," this girl said as they forgot to notice the cane she had, "I am Melany Oz. The Creator of this land," Melany introduce herself, "Or WAS is more of a correct term," she mumbled the last part.

"This land?" Katie said before finally realizing what was going on.

"Um hey Arthur and Ivan why are dressed weird it looks just like your characters? Wait if you look like that, does that mean I'm dressed like?" She asked before being cut off by Arthur

"Yeah, that means you're a nature fairy. I presume we are in a fantasy world inside that book, right?" He asked looking at Melany.

"Correct," Melony told him.

"Wait does this mean we gained the abilities of what we are?" Katie asked trying to figure everything out.

"Yes, in a cry of hope I wished for the 14 legendary fantasy characters," Melony answered her.

"So this wasn't Arthur's fault after all," Ivan said.

"Do you guys ever have any faith in me?" Arthur asked his friends.

"It just depends," Katie answered jokingly.

"Melony why did you summon us here? Also, what did you mean when you mumbled something about controlling this world in the past?" Ivan asked.

"Well, I kind of got trapped in here after Faucereve the grim reaper of the land of dreams stole my pen from me and ever since then he's been trying to destroy the happiness of this world," Melony said to them.

"So what are we suppose to do?" Katie asked confused a bit about why they particularly were summoned. Melany taps her cane into the ground as she looks at the trio.

"I would need your help," She spoke, "Since you were all little, fairy tales were your thing. Mostly on Arthur side,"

Melany winked at the English male, "But I can't do it unless if I have all 14 of you. Otherwise, things won't look so good at the end of this story."
