Chapter 7: Looking at the Past

Lukas went towards his door nerves about that war thing the servant told him. He opened it anyway because he needs to know his background so he doesn't mess up and say something stupid. It showed him as a toddler already being a Viking. He saw his younger self look emotionless instead of his usual almost emotionless self. He was trained at a very young age and excelled but lacked compassion. Well, at least until he was 6 years old there was nothing to make life more than okay with no happiness. 

Then Lukas sees himself at the age of 16 when he saw that his father had made him earl because his father was dying. It almost made Lukas cry as he sees his father died before him. Then he saw that Matthias was talking over about something. Whatever it was, it made his past self pissed off as he said he'll make no agreement. Matthias seems to try to tell him something but Lukas said that he'll have war agents him. It seems to take about two or three years later, which Lukas meet Antonio. 

They both agree to attack the left side point- which was where Lukas fired at the castle walls- and they attacked Matthias kingdom. But a white flag was flying over. Lukas row to shore as he sees Matthias tricked him. A trap was planed and Lukas lost. Matthias past self said he does not want to continue the war anymore. Which then the news came in about Matthias queen was expecting. So Lukas past self felt guilt in his heart. Then Lukas came back as he saw everyone was looking down at him. "... My god..." was all Lukas just said. "What happened?" Katie asked. Which then the door disappear and words came on the door. All of his past came upon the door as he sees them. 

"When you entire a door," Melany said, "your past will appear when you finish your past." 

"... So," Ivan said, "Who's next?" Everyone didn't know who should go next. But they all heard a door closed behind as everyone saw Gilbert leaving into his door. 

"GILBERT!" Ludwig said as he tried to go into the door. But it shut into his face. 

"Also," Melany chuckled, "You can't go into a door that isn't yours." 

He saw him as a toddler in a village and the people were somewhat scared of him because he was an albino in a fantasy world. His brother was also a toddler but they were about 9 months apart  What shocked him was seeing his brother not being a werewolf. Then at the age of a young child's age, Gilbert and Ludwig's family were killed and their village was burned. It was sad for two children to see. 

They were the only two to survive as they thought about moving somewhere else that they could find a home. Soon winter came and Gilbert had to do everything he can to take care of his younger brother. But Ludwig started to get sick, which made Gilbert panic as he tries to find somewhere that they can stay both warm and have something to eat maybe. When he was searching Ludwig got close to death. Gilbert found someone but the only way to save his brother was to let Ludwig turn into a werewolf. Gilbert agreed because he knew it was the only way. 

The man told him some advice, "there is a kingdom not far from here that you can become a night at. They will be okay with how you look, but there is a different place for him don't worry he will be safe and you will see him again, eventually." Gilbert had to agree. 

So as Gilbert brought his brother to the kingdom as the man had helped them out by giving him a ride. When Gilbert yelled for help. A few of the guards came down as they went to help to Gilbert and his brother. They got them both warm and fed while the king had asked them questions. Gilbert did most of the replying as he couldn't stop looking at the queen and the little prince who was standing next to his mother. 

"And what about your brother?" The king asked. 

"What do you mean?" Gilbert asked. 

"Does he know what he is?" Gilbert didn't want to answer as Ludwig look up at his brother.
