I was a bit off put by hearing about the tournament. Oh well. We go in the classroom and there he is, Alastor Moody. They call him Mad-Eye Moody because of his freaky eye. "Good Morning, Professor," I said. He screamed "Constant Vigilance!" I blink but nod and turn to a seat. He always says that and I do not know why. Perhaps hunting dark wizards and witches does that an Auror. The flock of student flooded the room and Hermione sat beside me. Ron was glaring at how there were no seats near us that were available. He sat down and I smirked. "When are you two going to make up?" Hermione asked. I sneer at the idea of making up with him. He was a dirty lair. "If he ever sees his mistake and sincerely apologizes," I said huffily. She sighed and class commenced. I jotted every note I could without accidentally writing 'Constant Vigilance'. Next thing I knew, class was over and I saw Ron's quick moves. Not today sir!

It was Halloween night. I wanted nothing more than to go back to my room and weep for those like my Godfather, Sirius Black; those who knew my parents. I didn't lose much, just another life I suppose. I wouldn't know, so what's the use of crying over it? I barely knew them. I listened to Dora the manipulator about the schools coming in any second.

The door burst open. A beautiful scene opened. I could spot several Veela in the group. These were the Beauxbatons. I stared in wonder and splendor to their display of their school. It was breathtaking.
I looked at the woman at the end. She was tall and not the prettiest of flowers, but what was there to expect? She had so many Veela students. I'm sure she has inner beauty. She walked up to Dumblebutt and he kissed her hand. I feel bad for her.

Then I heard bangs and other things coming. Then they burst through the door. This was Durmstrang. Their display was very rhythm based as they all seemed in tune to each other. I stared in ah at all they had. Then two people came through the middle. It was Viktor Krum and Durmstrang's headmaster. He greeted the headmaster like an old friend.

The students were told to sit where they wished but it seemed that Beaubaxtons wanted to be with Ravenclaws and Durmstrang students wished to sit with Slytherin. Bumblecrum gave a speech about the tournament before we were allowed to eat.

Half way through, a Veela from Beaubaxtons wasn't feeling well and they wouldn't trust anyone besides the other Veela's to take her to Madame Pomfrey. However, they didn't know either. McGonagall asked me to, since I was a Veela. I agreed, anything to get out of there.

"How do you deal with all of zhem?" She asked. "Them?" I ask, uncertain if she meant men or all normals. "Zhe boys." Ah. That. "Simple. Act civil, but cold. As for the stubborn ones, just flee into a wave of highly angry young witches. They are only enchanted because we're Veela but go in a crowd of normal witches and they freeze up." She laughs. We arrive in the nurse's office and Madame Pomfrey checks her over. Afterward she gave the Veela a potion for her headache and a potion for her stomachache. I was allowed to leave as she asked her to lay down for a bit. I could return to the dining hall or I could go back to Gryffindor tower.

My dorm room it is then!

I tended to stay in my room quite frequently. I've been called out on it a bit this year but this morning no one would let me stay in bed. I can't let my wings free, at least let me sleep in when I can! As they dragged me to the hall, I felt this unbearable ache. It was squirming and digging inside, like a worm. Once seated I sighed and decided to read my book.

Serpentine Biology, Psychology, And Inheritances

Serpentine as a people are very isolated and shy species. Despite the legends of them having lured many for sexual satisfaction and devouring them for food, this is untrue. In fact those who have claimed to have seen such have in fact seen their cousins, the Dragotine. In reality the Serpentine only eat animals unmarked as domestic. They fear people and other magical creatures. They are very tribal and traditional in nature. They females of this species are known as Lamia while the males are known as Naga. The serpentine characteristics are slit eyes, k-nine teeth are sharp, has the upper torso of a human with patches of scales of their arms and their lower half is a snake tail. These species are capable of reproduction with witches, wizards, and normal nonmagicals.

Very few people will be able to actually approach them. The only recorded instance of this happening is Salazar Slytherin's mother falling in love with a Bara, and to many this is 'pure'. Many purebloods found it more 'pure' to do it with magical creatures than their own kind that were of nonmagical origin. This is why parcelmouths are only special to those descended from the Slytherin line, as it originated from mating with a Serpentine.

Unlike other inheritances, Serpentine genes will get fewer each generation due to how rare other Serpentine will breed, cause physical traits to skip generations and sometimes even abilities. If a Serpentine were to be an inheritance, the person with it from when it's still strong would have a high chance of having several scale patches or even be covered in them on their legs. They will have fangs and their eyes may be piercing or even glow. There's even chances they could have a tail. Abilities of the Serpentine will continue to flourish, such as parcelmouth and charmspeak if they're female. The weaker the Serpentine blood is, the few physical traits will show.

Serpentine will go through heat cycles. They can last for as little as a day to at most a week. These happen twice a year and start occurring when they first either get marked by their mate or reach age 17. Reports from Slytherin descendants tells us that those who do not skip the gene have less severe heats than normal Serpentine. Femil Gaunt even suggested when he was still alive that it might have something to do with their human genetics.

Like Veela, Vampires, and Merfolk, Serpentine do not die if they don't mate with their mate by age 18 or are rejected. In fact all it causes is a depletion of self control and increase of their heat. Depending on their orientation of position in their mating, the Inheritance Serpentine will become either excruciatingly clingy and possessive or they will become overprotective and dangerous. The original nature of the Serpentine will barely be visible, acting similar to Dracotine but still hold a more sentimentality towards their mate. If someone is the mate of one, it is best for them to accept them. It has been described by Lyra Slytherin "A living hell that moves and breathes."

What...the...
Well Malfoy, you're in a shit position. A real shit position! Damn, I hope it doesn't get to that point because he won't be the only one in a real shit position. Wait, what am I talking about I'm already in a shit position! My attention was taken away when I heard Dickleburg say it was time for the champions. First name... "Durmstrang, Viktor Krum!" Eh, not the worst option. Actually, considering how well known he is that's great. Hope he lives. Heck, I wouldn't mind if the guy won. "Beauxbatons, Fleur Delacour!" More clapping as she went into the same room as the last guy. I think she's a Veela as well, I think as long as someone wasn't a dick and magically put my name in the cup I'm going to enjoy this. Or not, considering this is a life threatening event. "Hogwarts, Cedric Diggory!" Cedric, if I remember, came with us with his father, Amos Diggory. I'd say we have a fine champion. When everything was seemingly fine another name came from the cup. "What?" "What's going on?" I am going to stab something if my name is there. Yumplyyick said "Rosie Potter.." I stabbed my food. I swear if he put my name in the goblet I'm going to snap.
