Horray for me. Today I'm a teen.

Go to school proud with my pretty things and my stuffed animal tucked away in my well loved backpack.

Go to first class. Smile. Pull out my little stuffed animal from my bag and set it on my lap. Hear laughter... blush, shove it away...

Go to lunch. Two braids fall happily on either side of my freckled face. Sandwich, cookies, and an apple. Look around holding my favourite kind of cookie bringing it to my lips. Notice the others lunches without breads and filled with salads and fruits. Back in the lunchbox the cookie goes...

Go on the bus. Made up faces greet. My freckled face tinges. Long lashes. Looks down noticing pudge...

Go inside. Bedroom. Fluffy blankets. Crawls into my fort and hugs my stuffed animals. Tears trickle down my cheeks and I share a secret with them. I'm scared...

End of the year. My stuffed animal hides in my bag until I get in the bathroom. I wear my hair down now. No cookies just bones. Freckles are hidden and dark lashes are made up. I pinch my thin legs. Gets home. Crawls under covers and cries.
