My eyes fluttered open, but I couldn't recall them closing. Was it all just a dream? All of it? Even him? My fingers raised to my eyes remembering his touch. It couldn't have been... it was just, all to.... real. I gazed around, finding no hot guy in the shadows, just my boring old room. My eyes touched the light of my alarm clock 12:29 PM 7/10/2012. I grunted and pulled my blankets over my head.
Wait.
Wait a second.
I didn't need to. My eyes shot over to my shade. Closed. It was closed! I didn't pull it shut last night! So does this mean-
Ring Ring Ring my cell buzzed it's annoying alarm. Ugh, work today.
I pulled myself out of bed and looked around for something to wear. Wiggling into my baggy jeans and Chococat t-shirt, I let my mind wonder to the guy from last night. There was something about him... Something different then all the others... I shook my head making my hair flare out, it was just a dream you idiot! Time to wake up!
I climbed on to my Jet Black Yamaha YZF R6 (Motorcycle) and listened to the engine roar for a moment. And the next second I was flying down the street to the music store.

"Hey guys, look, it's gloom in human form," Trevor, the school's 'Greatest Courterback', I think it's steroids. His group of friends cluttered together, chuckling at his stupid joke.
"Oh, lookie here, Mr. Wanna-be, if you're not going to buy anything, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave," I said bluntly, without even a gaze up from my laptop.
Trevor just laughed, "I would but this place is bogus."
"Then I'm gonna have to ask you to leave, Trevor."
"But I'm not going anywhere, Ash." our little quarrel seamed to be catching the eyes and ears of the other costumers, not good. I had to end this quick.
"What do you want, Trevor."
"Oh, I want many things, but they usually just come to me. Unlike you, Ash."
"Trevor, could you please leave, you're disturbing the costumers," I said trying not to blush. Okay did I just hear him right?
"I'm not leaving, Ash." leaned forward on the counter to move closer to me.
"Trevor you're gonna get me fired!" I shouted shooing him out the door.
"Then maybe you can come work for me," he said with a snicker.
"Trevor, get out now!" I yelled as a faint glow brightened below me.
"I'm not goin-" he stopped, staring at my hands. Silence filled the room as I gazed down as well. My homework!! I worked on that for three and half hours!!! And now- now its- it's a pile of ash!! Not even, it's still burning, just like my blanket last month!
How did he know about that... Forget it, Ash, not time to be wondering about that. I turned and grabbed the fire extinguisher and freeze blasted the papers, just in time for Mr. Gilbert to walk in.
"Ash! Starting fires in the store and yelling at costumers?! Your fired!" I didn't even look up at my boss. Staring at the pile of ash sitting on the glass counter, all I could think of was that 'Dream' last night.
And I wasn't the only one in a daze. Across from me, on the other side of the counter stood Trevor, eyes locked to the glass, "Impossible..."
I hurriedly grabbed my things and left, leaving an angry boss, a confused Trevor, and my proud pile of burnt English homework.

About a block away from the music store I hit a red light and stretched to a quick stop. I gazed around, making sure Trevor and his posy didn't fallow me. Coast clear. I sighed and looked around once more. But there was something different this time.
Or should I say someone...
There he was. I don’t really know who he was but it was him. I know it! The guy from the dream!
His eyes locked on me like I had a spotlight. He was sitting out side at the town's cafe drinking a cup of coffee. Go join him! Ask him about last night! my head screamed. Giving into the temptation I turned and road toward the cafe parking lot. He was sitting on the table furthest away... closest to the parking lot.
"I imagine you have questions," he said as I passed him. I could barely hear the sound of his voice over my motorcycle's hum.
I parked my bike and walked in. The girl at the counter glared at me as I took my order, caramel Frappuccino... big deal.. you put coffee, ice, and caramel together in a blender... seriously. Not that hard! Hey maybe I should apply here considering I just lost my job.
"He's out on the deck waiting for you," the girl snarled as she handed me my drink. I laughed silently and walked out side. He was still there sitting at his table, smiling, staring at me. A rosy color stained my cheeks as I walked over.
"Your right, I do have questions, like first was that real?" I said plummeting into the chair.
"So you did hear me," he laughed, "And yeah, you could say that, it's more of a yes and no."
"How did you make my papers today burst into flames, a spark or something?" I asked getting a better look at him. His eyes were like an ocean during a storm, deep gray. His features illuminated about the same way as it did in the shadows.
He laughed at my question, god his laugh was so sexy, "I didn't do anything, that was all you."
I stared in disbelief, "Okay first, how? Second, how the hell did I do that?"
He looked me in the eye seriously, "Remember how I said last night that if you wanted the answer to that question you would have to leave?" I nodded, "Is your answer still the same?"
I paused for a moment, what was there here for me? Got no job, parents couldn't care less, got no friends let alone a boyfriend, and do I even like it here? "Just answer this question, what's your name?"
"Nick, so what's your answer?" he replied bluntly.
I hesitated. What is my answer. I mean I already did kind of answer just... well... I was half asleep, "Yes, the answer's still the same."
"That's good, consistency is nice. So let’s see, we need to get you enrolled. Ahhhh, so many forms to fill," he said lazily. I cocked an eyebrow at him as he turned to his back pack, "Let's see, name? Ash Mason, Birthdate?"
"May 12, 1995."
He looked up at me like I was an idiot, "Are you sure?" I glared at him, "Interesting... Height?"
"Five, Six."
"Hair color... Dark brown, Eye color.... Green," he looked back down at his clipboard, "Allergies?" I shook my head, "Current school."
"Grand Lake High."
"Grade point average?"
I sighed, "After my report went into flames about... 3.9?" he cocked an eyebrow no believing me, "Seriously, if you don't believe me I can pull it up on my laptop," his eyes flickered between me and my computer. Rolling my eyes, I logged on and showed him. With a nod he jotted it down.
"Means of transportation?"
"Black Yamaha YZF R6," I said taking a sip of my drink. He looked up at me and mouthed 'English'. I glared at him, "A motorcycle."
"Guardians’ names?"
"Do we need to put that down?" he nodded and I sighed, "Penny and John Mason."
"Relationship status?"
I cocked an eyebrow and smiled, "You're weird you know," he remained cold and expressionless. I sighed, "Single."
"I'll just fill out the rest, I might pop by tonight if I need to," he said flipping through the papers, "And as I'm paid to say," his voice changed to a kind tone, "Congratulations, you have been excepted to Witchwood Academy."
