Sans was used to the multiverse and it's shenanigans by now. But even for him this was really pushing it.
Sans patted the inner-pocket of his jacket feeling the ketchup bottle still there. He liked feeling familiar things, it kept him calm and in check.
Sans walked back to his sentry post his shoes kicking up the snow on the floor. He could almost feel the snow between his socks and his shoes.
But then something changed. He wasn't staring at a snow covered land. Now he recognized the gold and gray tiles of the judgment hall. "W-what? I didn't teleport did I?" Sans thought to himself. He scanned the hall and realized parts of the walls gave away to a vast emptiness of space and stars. "Where the hell am I?" He voices aloud.
Suddenly a slightly higher yet monotone voice answered. "No clue pal." Sans observes a tall skeleton with Papyrus's features wearing an orange hoodie and brown cargo shorts.
"Papyrus?" Sans questioned. "One of many but not yours." The clone replied. Sans realized he must be his counterpart from another universe, or as Gaster liked to nickname them, AU's.
"Where are you from?" The Papyrus doppelgänger asked. "According to the code Undertale." Sans replied walking closer to the Skeleton smoking a cigarette. "As far as I know I'm from Underswap." His eye sockets seemed tired as if sleep deprived. He winked as much as skeletons could and grinned. "Nice to meet ya, Welcome to the Vanishing point." He waved his hands around motioning to the judgment hall walls. Sans looked around perplexed. He tried to start with the basics.
"I'm Sans, Sans the skeleton." He put out his gloved hand cover with a Whoopie cushion. "I'm Papyrus, Papyrus the revenant." He put out his palm covered with a joy buzzer. Their palms collided as they both chuckled.
As they were distracted a pair of red glowing eyes observed the spectacle. Chara adjusted her rainbow scarf.
In her long journeys through the multiverse she's observed one's like these before. Sans from Undertale and Papyrus from Underswap. They were quite the pair. But for now she would observe. Make sure they weren't hostile.
Although that plan was short lived as as blue and orange magic grasped her soul. "Who the hell are you?" They both asked in unison.
