Chapter 13: Piggy Back Ride

Your POV

"I know things have been hectic lately, but the real battle is about to begin," Aizawa said. Everyone tensed up and  waited anxiously for him to continue. Not another villain attack hopefully. What else could this mean? "The UA Sports Festival." He said. "AWW THANK GOD," Kamanari yelled. I raise my hand, "Excuse me sir, but what is the UA Sports Festival?" I asked. "It's an event where students like you compete in a tournament to show off your quirks. It also is an opportunity to find an internship. The better you do, the better your chances of interning with someone." Aizawa explained. "I'm so gonna win this one," Bakugou said. We made eye contact and I blushed a little thinking about what happened last night. "Hey, I'm going to beat you," I said distracting myself from my boyfriend. 

"Wanna take that back?" he threatened. "Settle down. Becuase of this festival and what has been going on recently, we are asking all students to take precaution while training. The class is dismissed until the day before the festival, go train." he said and snuggled into his sleeping bag. "Wait! Are you serious!?" Mineta yelled. Without hesitation, I ran out of the classroom to start training. "WAIT, F/N! YOU CAN'T LEAVE NOW! YOU HAVE THE DAMN HOUSE KEY!" He yelled. "WELL, I GUESS THAT MEANS YOUR COMING WITH ME!" I yelled back. I think class A is the only students let out early since others just watched from their class. 

As I am running, I take a look behind me and see bakugou sprinting at top speed. Is he not using his quirk? I use my quirk to give him a sign of a challenge. He then flew through the air above me with his explosives. "Wait! Katsu-!" I started to yell as he landed on top of me. "What?" he questioned. "I just realized shouldn't we not be relying on our quirks for running? We may have an instance where we need to save our energy. We should practice running." I suggested with Hedgehog still on top of me. "Great idea, but I'm comfy." He whispered in my ear blushing. 

I flipped him over pinning him down. "Are you still comfortable?" I asked with a smirk. "Tch. come on let's get training," he said. We ran to the beach at our normal location and started to stretch. "So, who would you want to intern with?" I asked. "One of the top 5. I want to be stronger than them." He said. His answer didn't surprise me. "I wish to intern with Aizawa. But I kinda doubt it would happen since he is our teacher. Plus we don't get to choose who asks us to intern for others." I said. "Fair point," he commented. We practiced our quirks by ourselves at first but then practiced on each other. In the middle of us sparing I heard someone call my name. "F/n! Hey!" they yelled. I turn to see Momo,  Uraraka, Asui,  and Toru. "Hey, guys! What are you all doing here?" I asked them. "We were heading back from training and happened to stop by you two," Toru answered. Bakugou took a water break as I chatted with them.

"It's getting kind of late. You two might want to get back home before the sun goes down, that's what Mr. Aizawa suggested." Momo explained. "Okay, thanks. I'll let bakugou know and we'll be on our way. See you guys later!" I gave them my goodbyes. "Hey Katsuki, let's head home. I'm getting tired." I said. "Okay, then hop on my back," he said "Huh? Why?" I asked. "F/n don't be a dumb ass. You just said you're tired." He said. "If you insist." I laughed. I jumped on his back and he carried both of our bags. "Hang on tight." He said. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders as he jogged carrying me. As we got to our neighborhood he slowed down and began to walk. 

"What are you tired now?" I said and hopped off. "Oi, get back on," he said. I shook my head. "Nope. You get on." I said back. He hands me the bags as he hops on my back. I began to give him a ride back home.

Once we got inside I paced him down out of breath. "Here have some." He said as he handing me his water bottle. I quickly tanked him and drank half of what was left. "Katsuki...huh...I didn't use my...quirk to give me strength." I said out of breath. "Really?" he said astonished. "I just wanted to prove to you that I am strong and I'll only get stronger. You probably think I'm weak most of the time. I don't-" I was cut off by him kissing me on the cheek. "Shut up you're strong and beautiful," he said blankly. I smiled.

"You're handsome too." I complimented. "You're hot." He said back. "It's because you're here," I said back to him. Hw laughed a little, "AYE I SAW THAT!" I yelled in excitement. "SHUT UP!" he yelled back. I hugged him as I laughed in his shoulder. "I'm going to sleep now. I don't want to be tired during training." I said. "Okay, goodnight. If you need anything just wake me so I can cuddle and make you feel better," he said. "Ok. You may be hard-headed, tough, and angry. But deep down you are a real sweetie." I commented. "Tch whatever" then we went to sleep.
